A new & complex sensation : essays on Joyce's Dubliners (original) (raw)
2004
Abstract
Since Joyce's Dubliners is of tremendous cultural significance for Ireland, for the Joyce industry, and for the academic world, there is a need, a century after it was written, to reflect on its impact. These critical essays by Joyce scholars and a variety of anthropologists, geographers and literary critics, mark that centenary.
