Aneurysm of a coronary vein graft (original) (raw)

This case report details a 75-year-old male patient with a coronary vein graft aneurysm discovered during investigation for chest pain. Angiography revealed multiple complications including severe native vessel disease and graft occlusions. A contrast CT scan showed a significant fusiform aneurysm with extensive thrombus. The patient was asymptomatic and opted for conservative management following a multidisciplinary assessment. The report discusses the commonality of mild aneurysms post-surgery, the rarity of large aneurysms, potential symptoms, and management strategies.
