IntroductionLibraries and information centers aim to facilitate user access to information. Operating based on the Ranganathan's Five laws of library science, they try to meet the information needs of the users in shortest possible time and provide the best resources. To achieve this, the use of technologies has been a major interest for librarians and information experts. The prevalent use of smartphones and the increasing number of applications have created a strong market and user base.
