This research aims to analyze the influence of population growth rate, economic growth, human development index, income distribution, and unemployment rate toward poverty in all provinces in Indonesia. This research used multiple linear regression model which processed with SPSS. All variables, such as population growth rate, economic growth, human development index, income distribution, and unemployment rate are in form of secondary data, which further proxied with Gini Ratio and unemployment rate in all provinces in Indonesia within 2016. The included data are in form of cross section data. The results show that population growth rate (0,015), economic growth (0,00), human development index (0,035), income distribution (0,01), and unemployment rate (0,00) are simultaneously influencing the poverty in all provinces in Indonesia, significantly

This study aims to determine the effect of population, open unemployment rate and human development index partially and simultaneously on poverty in Padang Pariaman District. The secondary data used for 2006-2020 was obtained from the Central Statistics Agency for Padang Pariaman District Indonesia and the Central Statistics Agency for West Sumatra. The data analysis technique is a multiple regression analysis processed using the SPSS 25 program. The results show that the population has a partial negative and significant effect on poverty. The open unemployment rate partially has positive and insignificant effects on poverty. The results showed that the human development index has a positive effect simultaneously and partially on poverty due to the open unemployment rate. The calculation results show that the coefficient of determination R2 = 0.854. It means that 85.4% of poverty is explained by population variables, open unemployment and the human development index. The remaining 14.6% of the poverty value is influenced by other variables that this study did not investigate.

Poverty and economic growth are important indicators of a country’s development success. To achieve development, countries strive to optimize economic growth and reduce poverty. The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of population and unemployment on poverty and economic growth in South Sulawesi. Data from South Sulawesi Central Bureau of Statistics. This study utilizes a quantitative survey using the path analysis method. The results of this study show that demographic variables have a negative and significant impact on poverty. The unemployment rate variable has no significant positive impact on poverty. Variables such as population, unemployment and poverty have a negative and significant impact on economic growth. At the same time, population and unemployment have a large impact on poverty. At the same time, population, unemployment and poverty have a significant impact on economic growth.
This study aimed to analyze and know the effectof economic growth, inflation and unemployment on poverty in South Sulawesi Province. This research used secondary data namely serial time data year 2009-2018. Data analysis and hypothesis used in thisstudy were path analysis method/ model. Based on the analysis, it was found out that the economic growth had no effect on poverty. Similarly, inflation had no significant effect on poverty too. Open unemployment had a significant effect on poverty. Thus, the government should expand employment and employment opportunitiesin order toreduce unemployment in South Sulawesi Province.

This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of investment and unemployment on economic growth and poverty in the District/City of North Sumatra Province. The type of data used in this study is the type of quantitative data while the source of the data used in this study is secondary data. The objects in this study are all districts and cities in North Sumatra Province which consists of 33 District/City. This study uses pooled data that combines time series data and cross sections for 5 years from 2014 to 2018. The data analysis method used in this study is path analysis. The results based on the path analysis method show that directly the investment variable has a positive and significant effect on economic growth and the unemployment variable has a negative and significant effect on economic growth. Investment does not have a significant negative effect on poverty, the unemployment variable has a significant positive effect on poverty and economic growth has a significant negative effect on poverty. While indirectly the investment variable through economic growth influences poverty. Unemployment variables affect poverty through economic growth.
ANALYSIS OF FACTORS AFFECTING UNEMPLOYMENT AND POVERTY RATE OF DISTRICT/CITY IN BALI PROVINCE
ABSTRACT : Unemployment rate is one of the most complex employment problems. Factors which caused the high level of unemployment rate are population growth rate, education level, and wage rate. The unemployment rate is one of the employment problems which in turn will have an impact on socio-economic problems, which is the high of poverty rate. This study uses secondary data which in total are 135 observation point, located in districts/cities in Bali Province among the period 2005-2019. The analysis technique used is path analysis. The results showed that the population growth rate had a negative and insignificant effect on the unemployment rate, the education level had a positive and significant effect on the unemployment rate, while the wage rate had a negative and significant effect on the unemployment rate,the population growth rate has a negative and insignificant effect on the poverty level, the education level and the wage level have a negative and significant effect on the poverty level, while the unemployment rate has a positive and significant effect on the poverty level, andthe unemployment rate does not mediate the relationship between population growth rates, education level and unemployment rate to poverty level in regencies/cities in Bali. Poverty is a condition involving the inability to meet economic prosperity as a minimum requirement of a certain standard of living. Poverty is also a problem that is influenced by various interrelated factors. This study aims to analyze simultaneously and partially the effect of unemployment, education and population on the poverty level in the regency/city of Bali Province in the 2015-2020 period, as well as to analyze the variables with the dominant contribution in reducing poverty levels. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear analysis. The results of the analysis show that unemployment, education and population simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on the poverty level in the regency/city of Bali Province in the 2015-2020 period. Economic growth is the main driver in reducing or increasing poverty. The economic growth of a region can be measured by Gross Regional Domestic Product. Inequality of economic growth between regions in Bali Province is one of the causes of increasing poverty rates in Bali Province. The poverty rate in this study was reviewed based on three categories, namely literacy rate, inflation, and open unemployment rate. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of literacy rates, inflation, and the open unemployment rate simultaneously and partially on the poverty rate in Bali Province. This research was conducted using secondary data. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis using panel data. The number of observations is 19 observations. Based on the results of the study, it shows that simultaneously the literacy rate, inflation, and the open unemployment rate have a significant effect on the poverty level in Bali Province. Partially the literacy rate and the open unemployment rate have a significant effect on the poverty level in Bali Province, but inflation has no significant effect on the poverty level in Bali Province.

The research aims to examine and analyze effects of economic growth, human development index (HDI), population, unemployment, and investment on poverty levels in the North Sumatra Province. The research uses quantitative data type, while the data source is obtained from secondary data in the quarterly form of 2010-2019. The data are analyzed with the model of Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) analysis. The results of ARDL analysis of economic growth variables and HDI have negative and significant effects on poverty levels in the short term and long term. Unemployment variable has a significant positive effect on poverty levels in the short term however insignificant in the long term and investment variable has an insignificant positive effect on the poverty level in the short and long term.
Analysis of Determinants of Unemployment Rate in Indonesia

Solving the unemployment issue is one of the best ways to reduce poverty. Through the provision of job opportunities, the poverty rate can be reduced. Therefore, this research explores the factors that influence the unemployment rate across 34 provinces over the 2015-2018 period using the panel regression technique. The variable used consisting of economic growth, the percentage of people with IT competence, and the average school duration. This study indicates that the unemployment rate can be reduced by increasing the average school duration. Meanwhile, the level of economic growth and the proportion of people with IT competence have an insignificant influence on Indonesia's unemployment rate. Based on these findings, the government needs to ensure that every resident in its territory can receive an adequate education.
