Impact of COVID-19 Pandemic on Education: Teaching and Learning
The study is emphasized on adverse impact of corona virus on education and also tends to seek out the challenges faced by teaching fraternity in educational Institutes. Social distancing and restrictive movement policies have considerably disturbed ancient instructional practices. The education sector has been fighting to survive the crises with a unique approach and digitizing the challenges to scrub away the threat of the pandemic. The COVID-19 pandemic has provided us with a chance to pave the manner for introducing digital learning. This article aims to review on the adverse impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on online teaching and learning and few measures taken by Govt. of India to provide seamless education in the country by mitigating the negative impacts caused due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

COVID-19 Pandemic has significantly reformed the educational system nationwide. Significant changes have been enhanced by the COVID-19 crisis in the teaching and Learning process. The conventional methods of teaching and learning have completely changed to entirely online. One of the first areas where these limitations had a big effect was the way teaching and learning were organized, especially how teaching and evaluation approaches were used. Some educational institutions have been able to implement online teaching-learning techniques and the rest of the institutions have failed. Besides this lack of online learning options has forced low-income private and public schools to shut down entirely. Due to the unexploited possibilities for learning, students faced subjected to social and economic hardships. During this time, they no longer have access to nourishing meals. Therefore, the main motive of the paper is to examine the "challenges and opportunities" that the teaching community faced during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The aim of the study is to know about the learner's satisfaction and challenges faced by the learners in online studies during COVID-19 pandemic. The survey is conducted among the learners of Changu Kana Thakur ACS College, New Panvel. The data were collected from 181 learners through online survey. Data collected from the survey were analysed with routine statistical software. According to the survey, online teaching was equally important in all segments of education during the pandemic period. It was found that learners are getting accustomed to E-learning and upgrading themselves by overcoming the obstacles in online learning. Virtual classrooms have become an avant-garde in the pandemic. With the ease of accessibility most of the learners find E-learning a content experience, however it is necessary to accentuate the downside and improvise them for an ameliorate learning experience. Besides the epidemiological benefits of E-learning during the COVID-19 pandemic, other benefits worth mentioning include increased convenience, access to resources regardless of location, time and reduction of costs. Online classes also have limitations, including problems with internet access, poor internet connection quality, and insufficient digital skills of the respondents. Some benefits such as time flexibility can also be a limitation, especially for students who have difficulties with self-discipline.

This research aims to examine the effect of Covid-19 on students’learning process related to personal factors, teachers’ involvementfactor as well as parents’ involvement factor. This study used descriptive qualitative methods for data collection. The population was the grade IX students at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 3 Aceh Besar. The sample in this study was 30 students of class IX Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 3 Aceh Besar. There were 9 male and 21 female. The writer used questionnaire as the research instrument in collecting the data.Meanwhile, in analysing the obtained data, the writer used percentage formula. The results of this study indicated that most students got negative effects when studying online, such became lazier, did not feel to have enough teacher’s involvement and not enough parentds’ support.

Background: The COVID pandemic has caused drastic changes in education systems in the world. The government enforced the restriction of all the educational institutions all over the country and also throughout the world. Due to shut down of institutions, the mode of learning shifted from on-site, in person learning to online, virtual mode. Thanks to the advancement of the technology and sciences, we were able to connect students to their professional world virtually. The study intends to acknowledge the student's mentality while attending online classroom and also highlighting the challenges faced due to the online education. Materials and Methods: The study was based on descriptive cross-sectional study and conducted through consented online survey where forms were distributed via social media. A total of 320 participants consented for the survey and willingly participated for it. Results: The survey showed that though the online mode of study was helpful in keeping up with the education, barriers can lead to obstruction for the fluidity of education. Conclusion: We should come up with more innovative ideas to connect students and professors with minimal barriers between them. The Education system in India underwent a major change due to the sudden lockdown announced by the Government in view of COVID – 19 pandemic. Both teachers and students had to shift to online mode in a very short time period. The present study analysis the positive and negative aspect of this online mode of education and measures adopted by teachers to maintain the flow of education along with attendance. The sur- vey was conducted at JSS Academy of Technical Education, Noida. More than 100 teachers and students participated in the survey conducted. Also experienced faculty came up with sug- gestions and ideas to improve the online mode of education in view of such pandemic situations. Two teachers who were also teaching kids at an NGO school running in the campus prem- ises shared their view on what efforts they took to let education reach the kids at the NGO as digital divide was the main prob- lem there.
