Burkitt's Lymphoma Presenting as Acute Rhinosinusitis: A Case Report (original) (raw)
2016
Abstract
This is a case of pediatric Burkitt's lymphoma in a 6-year-old boy who presented with acute mastoiditis and rhinosinusitis. He also developed multiple cranial neuropathies and was initially misdiagnosed as "Miller Fisher syndrome". The final diagnosis was made by endoscopic biopsy of the periorbital tissue after attempting decompression of painful orbital swelling.
