Question posed on women leadership are common both in Western countries and Muslim countries. There have been many researches carried out in the past, which discussed about women's ability to become a leader. In this paper, leadership of women is discussed in a broader sense, and it does not only confine to leader in an organisation or a state. In a Muslim country, appointment's of a woman as a leader is generally accepted as last choice. The issue of women leadership revolves around the competency of a women, which also includes the religious basis that woman cannot be a head of a state or women rank second to men or women biologically weak and susceptible to so many things. so, are there any differences between a woman leader and man as a leader? Are women better Leaders? An exploratory study of women's leadership with special reference to Bahrain

The study investigates the factors that make women different; the natural abilities and qualities that differentiate them from their male counterparts when it comes to leadership. The purpose of this study is to also investigate the effect of women as leaders in organizations. This study is a conceptual research that focuses on exploring the issues and challenges that women face in organizations. This study analyses women's issues in organizations like the glass ceiling, lack of empowerment, prejudice and discrimination, and resistance. The study attempts to find solutions that can help women break the challenges such as minimizing gender biases, creating organizational buy-in, giving women more job opportunities and giving women more network platforms. The study also examines the statistics of women in leadership positions globally and specifically in Bahrain, The study revealed that the number of women in higher positions has been increasing. In comparison to men, women still have little opportunities in top management. Successful organizations are those who involved both gender in the decision-making, because men and women are different and each of them has a different perception of the situation.

Female Leadership: An Exploratory Research from Lebanon

In spite of the massive admittance of women into the workplace, and the increasing numbers of women holding mid-level managerial positions, top-level positions remain as elusive to women today as they were more than a decade ago. Working in a world dominated by male decision-makers and their established practices, women encounter a variety of barriers that impede their progress towards top positions in their careers. One widely accepted explanation for this small number of female executives is the persistence of negative stereotypes, discrimination and glass ceiling against women as managers. Some people think that men are the most perfect in terms of leadership. The fact states that in a religious environment, it iswrong for a woman to become a leader. However, at UIN Walisongo Semarang the number of female leaders is quite large. Women with emotional intelligence, the softer and more sensitive feelings they have, can also be one of the determining variables. Emotional intelligence is the ability to control oneself, have endurance when facing a problem, able to control impulses, motivate oneself, able to regulate moods, ability to empathize and build relationships with others.
