Purpose: purpose of this study aims at seeking to understand whether entrepreneurial intentions exist among university students. Methodology: Survey research method was employed involving total of 210 students from four public Universities found in the Ethiopia. Sample of respondents from selected Universities were drawn by using systematic sampling techniques. The study used both primary and secondary data. Pertaining to data analysis both qualitative and quantitative data analysis techniques mainly descriptive analysis using percentages, tables and graphs were employed. The major objective of the study was to investigate the determinants of entrepreneurial intention among graduating students at Madawalabu University. For this end, data collected from 333 graduating students selected with strati ed sampling technique. The Binary Logistic Regression Model was used to analyze the determinants of the entrepreneurial intention of graduating students. The result of the study revealed that only 41.5 percent of the graduating students reported their intention to start their own business and the majority of them preferred to join public and private organizations as career choices. From the cohort of elds of study, Business and Economics graduating students retorted a better entrepreneurial intention followed by Engineering and Technology graduate students. The model result revealed sex, prior experience, residence, parental role model perceived social norms, risk-taking readiness and propensity, and entrepreneurship education were the major signi cant determinants of the entrepreneurial intention of graduating students, and most of the variables included in the model were found to be determinants of entrepreneurial intentions that conform both theoretical and empirical literature. Therefore, policymakers need to design entrepreneurship courses in different curricula to nurture students towards selfemployment and Universities should establish business incubation programs to nourish entrepreneurial talent at the university level.

With the rapid population growth and expansion of higher learning institutions unemployment of university graduates will be a major socioeconomic problem in Ethiopia. Given the increasing importance of entrepreneurship in contemporary careers, this research uses quantitative survey methods to uncover the determinants of students' entrepreneurial intentions. The total population of the study was nine hundred sixty seven (967) graduating class students of Assosa University and Government TVET College in BenishangulGumuzRegional States and the sample size 282 respectively.The data was gathered through questionnaire and Yamane's sample size determination method was used. The data obtained through questionnaire was first statistically analyzed through statistical package for social science (SPSS) version 20.First the data was analyzed with a descriptive statistical analysis and then mean and standard deviation were computed for the interpretation of respondents' characteristics and their entrepreneurial intentions. Then the Cronbach's coefficient alpha was employed to test reliability.Further, correlation and multiple regression techniques was conducted to test whether there was a positive significant relationship between social norm, personal attitude, perceived behavioral control, formal entrepreneurship education program and gender and students entrepreneurship intentions. The research result reveals that significant number of graduating class students' job preference right after graduation was government or private employment and majority of students do not have short-term self-employment plan in the foreseeable future after graduation. However, students' personal attitude towards entrepreneurship was positive and their entrepreneurial interest relatively highbut the execution of this interest in practice is insteadlow. Personal attitude and perceived behavioral control are emerges as the most important determinant of entrepreneurial intention. Where the impact of entrepreneurship education is concerned, the entrepreneurship course offered by the institutes under study was unable to motivate, encourage and equip students with necessary courage, skills and knowledge to create jobs. Furthermore, it'sadvised that entrepreneurship education should focus practically on development of competencies related to entrepreneurshipand cultural awareness.

Entrepreneurship education is thought to be the solution for urgent need for new jobs. Since the number of Ethiopian higher education students interested in becoming entrepreneurs is significantly lower than their neighboring countries counterparts, entrepreneurship education should be further stimulated across Ethiopia. Drivers of Entrepreneurial Intention Among Students of The University of The Gambia

This paper examined the drivers of entrepreneurial intention among students of the University of the Gambia. Various theories were adopted in the past to study entrepreneurial intentions among university going students. Building on the relevant literature on entrepreneurship models, this research examines student intention to engage in entrepreneurial ventures in the Gambia. In line with several (prior) research, our results confirm the important role of the business climate, entrepreneurial attitude and subjective norms on students’ intention to engage in entrepreneurial ventures. These results contribute to the literature by demonstrating the peculiar environment and segment of the population (the youth) that is emerging in the field of entrepreneurship, and the significance of entrepreneurship education. Our results provide implication for the government, policymakers, and educational institutions. The agenda for future research have also been discussed.

In emerging nations like Ghana, unemployment has grown to be a serious worry for graduates. According to this perspective, the majority of graduates are recommended to start their own businesses rather than wait for positions from the government. This paper aims to examine the entrepreneurial intentions among University students, using variables such as Motivation, Family Background, Entrepreneurship Education and External Factors. This is a crosssectional study where the results were based on the outcomes of a survey among the University of Cape Coast, school of Business students (n=130). Inferential statistical procedures such as the Pearson Product-Moment correlation test, Multiple Regression and Stepwise Regression Analysis were used to assess the study's specific aims and tested the four main hypotheses. The results indicated that all variables but Family Background positively influence students' entrepreneurial intentions and that Motivation is statistically significant in analyzing the factors that significantly affect the students' entrepreneurial intentions. Hence, more emphasis should be based on motivating the students both within and outside to enable them develop entrepreneurial mindsets. The study suggests that policymakers should focus on encouraging student entrepreneurship as it will be a proper management to deal with the severe unemployment issue in emerging countries, especially Ghana.

The basic objective of this study was to find out the entrepreneurial intention of undergraduate agricultural students in Ethiopia taking Jimma University college of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine as a study area. Descriptive and inferential design was employed in the study. The stratified sampling techniques were applied to select respondents and in order to collect data, pretest self-administered questionnaires were distributed to 212 participants. Entrepreneurship has been found as an important driver of economic growth, productivity and social development; hence the need for entrepreneurial graduate is on the increase. Thus the purpose of this paper is to investigate the factors that impact on the entrepreneurial intentions of polytechnic students in Ghana. In the study a model was proposed and empirically tested on a sample of 228 polytechnic students in Ghana. In the model, entrepreneurial intention is taken as a function of educational, community and family supports. The result of the survey showed that all the support factors impacts on students entrepreneurial intentions. The findings of this study have important implications for those who formulate, deliver and evaluate educational policies in Ghana. Based on the findings policy makers may make changes to foster students interest in entrepreneurship.
