The Effect Of Project-Based Learning On Collaboration Skills Of High School Students

JURNAL PENDIDIKAN SAINS (JPS), 2021

The aimed of this study was to determine the collaborative skills of students in using project-based learning at SMAN 1 Tanjungpinang. The implementation of the project-based learning model was not optimally used during the learning process. This type of this research was quasi-experiment with pretest postest group design and data collection was carried out by distributing collaborative skills rubrics to 40 students, the sample was selected by purposive sampling technique. The data analysis technique used simple regression. The results showed that the students who have been taught by project-based learning had excellent collaborative skills and achieved good criteria of each indicator of collaboration skills.

Development and Validation of Collaboration and Communication Skills Assessment Instruments Based on Project-Based Learning

2019

This study aim to describe the validity, practicality and effectiveness of the assessment instrument of collaboration and communication skills based on Project Based Learning. The development design use d the Research and Development method with the development model of Borg and Gall that is limited only 7 steps of development. The number of small group trial subject w as 32 students and the number of wider trial subject was 102 students. The result of the study show ed that the assessment instruments of collaboration and communication skills based on project-based learning was valid in terms of construction, substance and language after expert testing with a slight revision. In the small group test the instrument was practical, and effective while in the broad group test each item was reliable with the Cronbach's Alpha value self assessment instruments for collaboration and communication skills as a whole were 0.747 and 0.746.

Analysis of Students’ Collaboration Skills through Project-Based Learning Model

Gagasan Pendidikan Indonesia

Student collaboration can be trained by implementing a project-based learning (PjBL) model because this model has great potential to produce a meaningful learning for students and can be a provision for them to face the future when they enter the world of work. This research aimed to obtain the level of students' collaboration skill so that it can be used as a reference material to explore the potential of students. The type of this study is descriptive using a quantitative approach. The instrument used is an observation sheet to observe student collaboration skills during learning by applying PjBL to Fluid material which consists of 5 indicators and 10 descriptors. Data analysis uses the average percentage of students' collaboration skills indicators. The average percentage of collaboration skills indicators is 76.33%. Collaboration skills possessed by students during learning by applying the PjBL model are classified as collaborative in accordance with the assessment criteria reference. So it is concluded that to foster student collaboration skills, students can apply the PjBL model in physics learning activities.

Analisis Model Pembelajaran Project Based Learning Untuk Meningkatkan Ketrampilan Komunikasi Dalam Organisasi

Jurnal PROFIT: Kajian Pendidikan Ekonomi dan Ilmu Ekonomi, 2021

Communication is the sending of information or messages to related parties. 80% of the skills or competencies needed are soft skills. 49% of soft skills are skills or abilities that must be present in each employee, namely basic communication skills. communication skills are not only used in work, but communication skills are also needed in the field, considering that communication skills are a point of the 21st century. Improving students' communication skills can be done through learning activities. These efforts can be carried out in several ways, namely the application of learning models that are useful to support communication skills in students. Many models that can be applied in learning are in the form of project-based learning models. The model applied in this research is a literature review (literature analysis). The PBL learning model can improve students' communication skills.

Development of Collaboration and Communication Skills Assessment Tools Based on Project Based Learning in Improving High School Students the Soft Skills

Advances in Social Science, Education and Humanities Research, 2021

This research aims to create collaboration and communication skills assessment tools based on project based learning in improving students' soft skills that are valid, practical and effective. This research design uses research and development method with Borg & Gall development model adapted into 7 development steps, namely: (1) Research and information collection; (2) Planning; (3) Product develop Preliminary; (4) Preliminary Field Testing; (5) Main Product Revision; (6) Main Field Testing; (7) Operational Product Revision. This article is only reported until the Product develop Preliminary stage of developing the initial form of the product to be produced. Included in this step are the preparation of supporting components, preparing guidelines and manuals, and evaluating the feasibility of supporting tools. The data collection used is a questionnaire with google form collected from high school physics teachers in Lampung. The data analysis used is qualitative descriptive analysis. The results of this study are teachers in high school in Lampung province 75% have not used collaboration assessment instruments or communication.15% teachers already know the form of collaboration and communication assessment instruments but have not implemented them. S tudents have different learning abilities. Students who get low cognitive grades tend to be students who have good communication skills.90% of students tend to choose learning in practice rather than simply taking notes in class. Learning models suitable for the process of learning physics in order to improve collaboration (cooperation) and communication that is a project based learning mode l where this PJBL learning model students are required to create a project with a teamwork system in addition to improving collaboration and communication students this learning model can see soft skills possessed by students and can be developed. In this preliminary study 100% of teachers in Lampung agreed if created and developed collaboration and communication learning assessment instruments in order to multiply or form soft skills of students Keywords-collaboration and comunication, project based, soft skills Communication skills and collaboration skills according to Bell [2] are considered to be the most needed skills in the world of work. Way of working which is part of the skills category of

Enhancing Language and Communication Skills through Project-Based Learning: A Study in a Workplace Communication Classroom

2011

Currently most employers prefer to hire Malaysian graduates who have the necessary academic qualification and employability skills which are important in the present job environment. To meet the expectations of employers and future employers, Malaysian graduates are expected to have linguistic capabilities, information and communication technology (ICT) skills, interpersonal skills, management skills, thinking skills, and knowledge (Pandian & Aniswal, 2005). This study aims to examine to what extent project-based learning (PjBL) has succeeded in developing students’ language and communication skills while undergoing Workplace Communication course. Secondly, this will help researchers to identify the language and communication problems students faced in carrying out the assigned project. A set of questionnaire was designed and administered to determine the language and communication skills that students employ while engaging themselves in PjBL. In assisting students to acquire the em...
