Abstract

TEACHERS’ OPINIONS ABOUT IMPLEMENTATION OF DEVELOPED SCIENCE ACTIVITIES BASED GEMS APPROACH This study aims to determine teachers' opinions on implementation of developed GEMS activities about “Force and Friction” for 7 th grades. This study is a phenomenology study because it aims to determine the opinions of science teachers about the GEMS activities based on their experiences. This study was carried out with 6 (4 females, 2 males) science teachers working in 2 different secondary schools in a city center. The data of the study were collected through semi-structured interviews after teachers were informed about the approach and allowed to examine the activities. The obtained data were analyzed using the content analysis method.
