This research wa s aimed to know the influence of cooperative learning model of think pair share type towards students’ mathematical communication skill . This research was quasi experiment with post-test only control group design. The population of this research wa s all students of grade IX in SMP Negeri 20 Bandar Lampung which consist of seven classes. The samples of this research were students of IX B as experiment class and students of IX A as control class that were selected by purposive random sampling. The data of this research was the score of post-test of students’ mathematical communication skill and it was analyzed by t-test . Based on the analysis of data , it was concluded that the cooperative learning model of t hink p air s hare type influen ce in student s’ mathematical communication skill .
