This research aimed at designing an English Instructional design based on higher-order thinking skills. The type of this research was research and development (R&D) which refers to Borg and Gall development model. The subject of this study was English teacher at the Al- Qimmah Integrated Islamic Vocational School in the school year 2021/2022. In terms of data collection techniques, the researcher used interview and questionnaires, while the data analysis techniques in this study are qualitative and quantitative. From the data analysis, the following results were obtained: Al-Qimmah Integrated Islamic Vocational School uses the 2013 curriculum, but the learning implementation plan used is still not based on higher-order thinking skills. This study aimed to develop an Electronic Book (Ebook) based on Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) for the Tatbiq Nahwi Ibtida'i course and test its validity. The research method used is research and development (Research and Development); there are five steps in development, namely: (1) analysis, (2) design, (3) development, (4) evaluation, and (5) revision. This ebook product was tested on ten Department of Arabic Literature, the State University of Malang students taking the course—data collection techniques through interviews and observation. This research is qualitative research with the type of case study to describe the implementation of e-learning based on HOTS in higher education. E-learning is a necessity that must be used by lecturers when teaching at universities, especially during the current pandemic. The learning must be based on HOTS as the demands of the industrial revolution 4.0 and society 5.0, to produce prospective teachers who can guide their students to have the ability to solve problems in life. This study aimed at exploring the extent of using e-learning among teachers of higher basic stages in one of the southern governorates in Jordan. The researchers used the descriptive approach to collect, analyze the data, and to interpret the results. The study sample consisted of 365 male and female teachers, and it was selected by using the stratified random sampling method. A questionnaire was developed to collect the data, and its validity and reliability were checked. The study results showed that the teachers were using e-learning moderately. In addition, there were no statistically significant differences due to the variables of gender and specialization. However, there were statistically significant differences due to the experience variable. In order to follow and fulfill the development of the times wrapped in technology, every Arabic teacher is also required to be able to master and apply technology in Arabic language learning. In a study conducted by Rustam Shadiev and Mengke Yang, it was found that of the twenty-four articles reviewed on the use of technology in foreign language learning, almost all of these studies reported positive results. Learners had a positive perception of the use of technology, which meant that it showed that technology was effective in supporting language learning and that learners accepted and used it. Based on this, mentoring and training activities to improve teaching competencies for 21 Arabic language teachers in the Puteri Ummul Mukminin Aisyiyah Islamic Boarding School in South Sulawesi were carried out on Saturday, May 27, 2023, with the speaker, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nurkhamimi Zainuddin from the Faculty of Primary Language Studies, Uniersitas Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM). This is certainly expected to provide additional knowledge about the importance of using technology in Arabic language learning that can be applied both online and offline. The activity was carried out in three stages: preparation, implementation, and reflection.

The significance and advantages of utilizing innovative educational technology gadgets in the classroom have become a source of research interest in current years. This study pursues to explore King Khalid University's staff members' perspectives on the significance and benefits of incorporating innovative educational technology in teaching the English language to Saudi learners at the tertiary level. This research arrogates the descriptive-analytical approach. Moreover, the theoretical framework of the study was a questionnaire prepared by the two researchers to get information and was applied to fifty-two selected King Khalid University staff members in the Asir region to get their perspectives on the significance and benefits of incorporating innovative educational technology in teaching the English language to Saudi learners at the tertiary level, their groundwork to integrate technology, the types of technology employed and the challenges they encountered in incorporating technology. The results indicate that most of King Khalid University's staff members had positive perspectives on the significance and benefits of incorporating innovative educational technology in teaching the English language. The study results have pedagogical implications and some recommendations for strategies and instructions for further investigations and facilitating the utilization of technology in teaching and learning.

Technology is advancing and developing, and we cannot let go of our lives. One of them is in the world of education, the use of technology is often found. teachers combine technological devices in the learning process so that the learning atmosphere becomes more interesting, not only with increasingly open technological developments and the spread of information and knowledge throughout the world across the boundaries of space and time. Thus, technological developments have a positive impact on educators and students. In this study, researchers measured the extent to which the application of this technology in the learning process was highly valued. For this reason, this research aims to find out the impact of technology on Arabic language learning at the Batusangkar Institute State Islamic University. The method used in this research is a survey research method. Data collection uses observation, interviews and questionnaires. Furthermore, the expected result of this research is to find out the role or influence of technology on Arabic language learning activities in higher education. Based on the research results, it can be seen that there is an influence or influence of technology on Arabic language learning at the Batusangkar State Islamic Institute.
