Higher education institutions (HEIs) usually work open throughout the academic session. In the COVID-19 pandemic time, all the HEIs were also closed temporarily. The study examined the major challenges faced by the teachers and students from the virtual classroom during the nationwide lockdown. Due to the nationwide lockdown and lack of funding, convenience sampling and snowball sampling techniques were used for data collection. A total of 893 responses were analyzed for this study. Data was collected through a structured questionnaire on a Likert scale from 305 teachers and 588 students of higher education institutes from the entire India. Network connectivity was the major challenge faced by the faculty members (mean value of 3.68) followed by 3.17 mean value for lack of professional environment at home, 3.03 for lack of teaching material at home, 2.92 for lack of personal computer/laptop. During COVID-19 pandemic lockdown, other countries as well as Govt. of Pakistan adopted online learning in order to keep continuing teaching-learning process without any gape. As a result, world saw a paradigm shift from physical classrooms to virtual/online class environment. The basic purpose of this study was to explore secondary school students’ personal experiences of virtual/online learning. For this, total 409 students from different government and private secondary schools participated in this study. A self-developed questionnaire was used to collect the required data. A virtual learning platform is an online-based podium that provides digital solutions to learners and academicians to improve their learning experience. Virtual learning is a system that provides educators a digital-based options for producing interactive lessons. Since the early days of the COVID19 pandemic, Universities throughout the world took rapid initiatives to ensure students` learning continuity and secure the well-being of their learners. (Alsoud & Harasis, 2021) Virtual learning is a form of learning that uses technology. A learning system based on dignified teaching, with the help of digital resources is known as virtual learning. This study aims To find out the impact of virtual learning on student`s academic achievements during COVID-19 outbreak. The recent research study was carried to explain the existing conditions of the learners` views and concepts. M.Phil and Ph.D. scholars that were confined to "The Faculty of Education, University of Sindh". Descriptive Survey design was used to collect data from the respondents, from which 200 respondent`s feedback was recorded and elaborated with the proper and timely usage of tool (Questionnaire). As a result of the global pandemic caused by COVID-19, universities have carried out teaching in a digital way, accelerating the inclusion and use of technologies in methodological adaptation. The research aims to ascertain the perception that students at the Faculty of Education Sciences of the University of Granada have regarding the pedagogical model adopted in the virtual learning environment during confinement through the second semester of the 2019–2020 academic year. The information collection method was an online questionnaire, using simple random sampling with proportional affixing 0.5, 95% confidence level and maximum permissible error of 4.7%. Virtual Classroom Instruction during Covid-19 Pandemic and Students' Opinions

Covid-19 pandemic has affected all the countries around the world. It has huge effect upon all areas as well as education. Since the beginning of the pandemic schools were closed as well as universities. Turkey's decision was to move on distant education for universities. However, not all universities were ready for a complete distant education. For that reason, few universities needed to use online educational platforms such as Google Classroom. Minimal interaction between the instructors and students caused heavy reliance on the homework assignments. Although there were instructors who used online exams still, most of them used a traditional approach in education. Thus, purpose of this study was to investigate pandemic's effect on education. For that reason, opinion of 16 students who were studying at science education department at 4th grade level was taken via a semi structured survey. Purposive sampling method was used for the study. For that reason 4th grade students were selected for the study. Since those students were about to become teachers, it is acknowledged that they would also had full comprehension on the given education and its positive and negative sides. Four themes emerged as a conclusion. Those themes were, flexibility of distant education and its effect on instruction, importance of feedback, meaningful learning and, assessment and evaluation. Virtual class uses computer software and internet to deliver instruction to the students. This eliminates needs for teachers and students to share the physical classroom. COVID-19 is a highly infectious disease caused by coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). It has originated in Wuhan city of China. The coronavirus triggered first phase in the form of nationwide lockdown in India which commenced on March 25, 2020. It has globally put, over 1.2 billion children out of the classroom. This situation challenged the educational system across the world and forced educators to shift to an online mode of teaching abruptly. Many academic institutions that were forced to transform entirely to online teaching and learning. Hence, there was distinctive rise in e-learning, whereby teaching is undertaken through digital platforms. The lack of digital tools is a major drawback amongst students, there is difficulty in understanding, social isolation and poor communication skills. The impact of the virus was so strong that online education became an omnipresent part of education, resulting in no further physical interaction of teachers with students. Due to the lockdown, students have not connected with the outer world resulting in lack of exposure. Since, students have been introduced to virtual platforms it made them well versed with technology with digital identity. On the other side of education i.e., the teachers, were greatly benefitted by teaching online, in such a way that it has increased their awareness of students' needs and methods to create engaging activities. Few teachers, realised it is easier to teach face-to-face after teaching online, while other teachers disagreed and faced challenges when returning to the face-to face classroom. The student teacher rapport has been affected very badly as the whole surrounding has drastically changed on account of unprecedented advent of pandemic.
Blended Learning- A Step to Minimize Effect of Covid-19 on Education

After recording the first Covid 19 case on 30 th January, 2020, India went on complete lockdown on 24th, March. With this lockdown restrictions were imposed all over the country and students were made to stay at homes to be safe. Examinations at all levels were postponed and educational institutions were shut down creating a huge loss to the educational sector in the country. The country witnessed the largest disruption in the history affecting 320 million students enrolled at various educational institutions and 1.6 billion learners were also kept away from schools worldwide. To avoid this learning loss while this pandemic lasts, the government initiated technology based teaching to make sure that learners are in reach to learning materials while remaining at home. Blended learning is one such proposal that combines face-to-face learning with online learning system. The paper reviewed the loss caused by this pandemic and reviewed the usefulness of Blended learning in academic recovery. The research study is based on qualitative aspect and to meet the objectives of this research, data was collected from different sources. It was found that learning can be improved through blended mode and can be implemented during outbreak of diseases like Covid. It was accomplished that blended learning can be devised in India, but some far-flung schools would not benefit much due to lack of basic facilities and technology. It was suggested that there is a need to install digital appliances so that technology based learning is available to all learners in India.
Effectiveness of Online Learning Using Virtual Class During the COVID-19 Pandemic

The Covid-19 outbreak in several countries, including Indonesia, does not seem to have ended yet. This has prompted various parties to try to stop and prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus. One way that the Indonesian government has taken to prevent the spread of the virus is to close all public facilities. Unila took part in stopping the spread of Covid-19. This study aims to map a picture of the effectiveness of online learning using Virtual Class (VClass) during the Covid-19 pandemic. Descriptive quantitative research focuses on the effectiveness of online learning. The population of this research is the students of PTI FKIP Unila. The sample used was 35 students who were selected using simple random sampling technique. The online learning questionnaire was used as a data collection instrument. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results showed that students rated online learning using VClass as very effective (2.9%), effective (34.3%), moderately effective (40%), and less effective (22.9%). To improve the quality of online learning, the online learning concept solutions by Unila Lecturers: (1) Reduce online assignments; (2) Adding learning videos; (3) Do not use the group assignment discussion method. Meanwhile, the solution for Unila's UPT TIK's Main Duties: (1) Repairing the VClass server; (2) Increase the max file size that can be sent; (3) Change the menu or appearance and make it an apk.
