Strategic of Entrepreneurship Retail Business Sector in Bogor City

Retail growth as one of the most important distribution chains in the product distribution cycle is a great opportunity for retail businesses. On the other hand, retail growth also brings increasing business competition, so it needs strategic planning. One method that can be used is strategic entrepreneurship which combines two theories, namely strategic management and entrepreneurship to maximize opportunities by creating competitiveness in business processes. This study aims to analyze the characteristic of the retail business sector in Bogor City, strategic entrepreneurial factors and the influence between Input-Process-Output segmentation using descriptive analysis methods and Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). The type of data used in this research is quantitative by using primary data in the form of interviews and filling out questionnaires and secondary data using literature studies and previous research. This research was conducted from December 2019 to May 2020 with a total of 85 retail respondents. The results showed that modern retail in the city of Bogor is included in starting a business and dominated by incorporated company. Retail in Bogor City is also dominated by women as top management and senior high school graduates. There were 6 strategic entrepreneurial factors namely environmental factors, organization resources, individual resources, resource orchestration, consumer value and competitive advantages, creating wealth and other benefits. The variables that have a positive and most significant influence were consumer value and competitive advantages. Variables that did not have a significant effect is individual resources.

The aim of this study was to investigate the impact of strategic entrepreneurship on the performance of industrial companies in Ahvaz. The population of this study will be the number of all Ahvaz's industrial companies. With regard to this matter among all the employees, managers using simple random sampling of 194 that was selected as the sample. In this study, to evaluate the performance of the industrial enterprises of scale derived from strategic entrepreneurship and strategic business model Shyrvkva (2012) was used. Purpose: The study aims to explain the role of business innovation strategies mediating the effect of entrepreneurial orientation on the performance of SMEs. Approach/Methodology/Design: The method of determining the sample used is purposive sampling, the culinary sector SMEs in Denpasar City. Strategic entrepreneurship refers to the ability of an MSME to investigate potential entrepreneurial ventures while exploiting its current competitive advantages. Strategic Entrepreneurship and Performance of Small and Medium Scale Enterprises in Aba Metropolis

Strategic entrepreneurship has become dominant in the contemporary world and it is considered an effective tool for economic. Small and medium scale enterprises (SMEs) in Aba metropolis are faced with issues like inadequate information about strategic entrepreneurship, low entrepreneurial innovation which had resulted into low productivity and inefficiency in profit maximization. Little attention have been given into how strategic entrepreneurship contributes to performance of SMEs in Aba metropolis, Abia State. This study examined the effect of strategic entrepreneurship on performance of selected SMEs in Aba metropolis. The study adopted the survey research design. The population of the study consisted of 231 owner/managers of the selected SMEs in the manufacturing, the finance, health and the food and beverages sectors in Aba metropolis. The total enumeration method of sampling was used and data were gathered through the use of a questionnaire. The instrument was validated and the KMO values were greater that 0.5 while the reliability test was 0.875. Data were analyzed using simple linear regression analysis. The results revealed that strategic entrepreneurship variables have effects on the performance variables. The study concluded that strategic entrepreneurship plays an important role in enhancing the performance of SMEs in Aba metropolis. It was therefore recommended that SMEs should pay critical attention to the adoption of strategic entrepreneurship due to its positive effect on performance.

Entrepreneurial Skills and SME’s Business Performance: Empirical Study Culinary Business

This study aims to investigate the relationship and the influence of entrepreneurial skill on business performance. The quantitative research data type was based on a questionnaire. Populasion is SME's entrepreneur, who are members of the food and beverage sub-sector community in Malang City, 300 SMEs. The sample size is 181 entrepreneurs of SMEs food and beverage on chips as the sub sectors were made using the simple random sampling technique. The Results of this study indicate that the relationship and influence of entrepreneurial skills with business performance SME's is small. Personal Maturity skill have a major contribution of entrepreneurial skill on business performance SME's. In conclusion, managerial skills developed becomes more responsible as marketing strategy plan, implementation and follow-up should be developed by researchers in the future, observing variables like entrepreneurial characteristics, entrepreneurship motivation, entrepreneurship orientation, market orientation, innovation and knowledge sharing as business performance predictions

THE EFFECT OF ENTREPRENEURSHIP ORIENTATION, INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY, STRATEGIC PLANNING TO COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGES WITH BUSINESS PERFORMANCE AS INTERVENING VARIABLES: EMPIRICAL STUDY FOOD PROCESSING SMEs IN NORTH SULAWESI

This study aims to examine the influence of Entrepreneurship Orientation, Information Technology, Strategic Planning, to Business Performance and Competitive Advantage of micro and small entrepreneurs of food processing industry in North Sulawesi. In the case of the existence of micro and small entrepreneurs in this area, especially the processed food processing industry being studied, micro and small entrepreneurs are expected to build their ability to compete more and give quality value to the product. The logic of the model to be built in this study refers to how the Orientation of Entrepreneurship is formed in micro and small entrepreneurs of the food processing industry. Addition of information technology variables, as well as strategic planning is to see the development of business performance and competitive advantage of the respondents studied. The population of this research is food processing industry in North Sulawesi. Respondents are the owners who directly manage the company with a sample size of 132 respondents. Data collection was done by survey respondents, with data analysis using AMOS. The results showed that the Orientation of Entrepreneurship (X1), Information Technology (X2), Strategic Planning (X3) influenced the positive direction on Business Performance (Y1) and Competitive Excellence (Y2) of micro and small food industry. The use of Information Technology in micro and small entrepreneurs has become a reference factor in marketing their products to the online market. Several managerial suggestions were also submitted on the findings of the research findings.

Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) play an important role in the development of the Indonesian economy. SMEs contribute to the increase in Gross Domestic Product (GDP), increase exports, absorb labor, and become a source of income for most people. SMEs are a sector that is vulnerable to competition, despite having strong resilience to the crisis. This study aims to determine the effect of entrepreneurial orientation and absorptive ability on competitive advantage. This research was conducted on SME managers throughout Denpasar City using PLS-SEM analysis, with the help of SmartPLS 3.0 Software. The results of the study show that competitive advantage is influenced by entrepreneurial orientation. In addition to having an impact on increasing competitive advantage, entrepreneurial orientation also has an impact on increasing absorptive abilities. Another finding is that absorptive ability does not mediate the relationship between entrepreneurial orientation and competitive advantage.
