The Characteristic of Moral Cognitive Development Stage of Primary School Student and The Implications for learning in Primary School

The purpose of this study is to perform analysis of the characteristic of cognitive development stage of Primary school students age 10 to 11 years. The characteristic of cognitive development of learners is the moral reasoning quality of learners or at which stage/moral cognitive level the learners are. This study is a descriptive study. It is said to be descriptive study as it seeks to describe the characteristic of moral cognitive development stage of the Primary school student. The sample of this study is students of Ketabang Surabaya Primary School at the fifth grade which amounted to 274 people from five elemantary schools in Surabaya. Statistical analysis techniques of the research data that conducted are (1) average analysis, this analytical technique is used to obtain a description of student's moral cognitive development trend judging from the average value. (2) Percentage analysis to describe Percentage of score frequency of moral development test that emerged. The results of this study further be used as a reference for the development of learning models that emphasize the moral cognitive of learners in Primary school learning.

Development of Moral Dilemma Model in Elementary School

The purpose of this research is to produce a product of digital animation set in a hypothetical moral dilemma. The development of this moral dilemma model uses Borg &Gall's Research and Development method. But at the time this article was compiled, this research is still at the 3rd stage of Develop preliminary form of product. The setting of this research was tested at SDN 4 Kenanga. The results of the initial concept of research illustrate that cognitive morals must be applied early to students in order to solve problems and make decisions with careful consideration. Cognitive moral development can be applied by the method of moral dilemma to make children think critically, not only say the right answer, but can stimulate the child to mature moral thinking and considerations. The development of this concept will be further developed with educational-based applications. Thus, it can be concluded that the concept of developing moral dilemmas through the media becomes one of the needs that need to be developed in the pandemic, one of which is with digital animation. The concept of digital animation is expected to be one of the media that provides novelty in education in Indonesia that began to face a period of saturation in the midst of the pandemic

Education is very important to every individual, not least children. Education is also expected to play an active role in changing the mindset, behavior and attitudes of each individual. Education should also be able to understand ethical values. Not without cause, because now the ethical values have begun to go unnoticed by the students. Starting many elementary school students who smoke, drink alcohol, brawls and unscinged sex. The purpose of this research is to know the importance of understanding the ethical values in the character of elementary school students, precisely at elementary school 1 Bareng Malang and what the impact is. In this study there was a sample of fifty (50) students and sample characteristics of fifty (50) students as participants, thirty-four (34) men and sixteen (16) women and using quantitative research method. There is a positive influence between Christian ethical variables and significant Christian character variables of elementary school 1 Bareng students, which means that the higher the Christian ethics lesson the higher the Christian character of elementary school 1 Bareng Malang students.

This research is motivated by the problems of moral degradation of teenagers and the role of the model in Indonesian society today. Therefore, it is needed to examine the characters who become role models and thoughts about manners to produce the seeds of the successor of the noble nation of noble character. This research uses qualitative approach. This means that the approach by thinking the opinions of experts or phenomena that exist in people's lives. This type of research using research type library research that collects data or scientific papers that aims with the object of research or collecting data that is literary. In collecting data, the author uses documentation techniques. As for the technique of data analysis using content analysis, namely data processing by separate sorting related to the discussion of some ideas or thoughts of educational leaders who later described, discussed and criticized. The results of this study conclude that the concept of moral character education perspective based on Al-Qur'an and Sunnah Rasulullah SAW and Reason. The goal of human rights perspective education is to reach the i'tidal (soul balance) achieved by developing four factors, namely syaja'ah, 'iffah, wisdom, and' is. A prominent method of morality education of HAMKA is the method of virtue, exemplary method, live in method, and method of habituation. The most appealing evaluation for character education of human rights perspective is muhasabah (self-evaluation).

Juvenile delinquent is breaking law action that done by teenages. Juvenile delinquent becomes a global problem now. Many studies has found that fail of moral development is one of many factor potentially that appearing Juvenile delinquent. Parenting, school and community have a responsibility to protect children’s moral development. Indonesian has education alternative model that is “pesantren”. Pesantren can over taking all of education moral element (Family, school and community), and pesantren has resources which give to student (santri) moral cognition and moral emotion.

Developing Moral Values-Based Character Ingrade IV of Primary School

This study aims to describe the teacher's efforts in developing moral values-based character. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The technique of collecting data in this research is by using observation, interview, and documentation. The results of this study show that of 19 students, there are two students who have different characters and if the teacher gives lessons to the students, it turns out the two students are just playing. These two students also handed in their assignments to the last minute. It revealed that the nature of the two students was influenced by the environment and also the influence of the background of parents of students whose job is only farmers and motorcycle taxi drivers. The condition makes the students less motivated in getting involved in the learning process at school. In conclusion, the teacher has tried to advise, give warning, light punishment, and yet both students keep on doing things that make other students less

PROCESSES IN DEVELOPING MORALITY IN CEBU TECHNOLOGICAL UNIVERSITY-ARGAO CAMPUS, CEBU, PHILIPPINES

The main problem in society is moral decay, not guns. The rise and fall of Cultural Salience of Morality are due to societal conflicts and developments, as well as historical variations in moral judgments. The study determined the processes of moral development anchored on Lickona's model. A descriptive quantitative correlation was used, and a survey was done using an online survey questionnaire. The number of respondents were determined using the Slovin's formula. Cronbach's alpha score of 0.822 signifies the high reliability of the research questionnaire. Pearson r correlation was utilized to check the significant relationship between the procedural level of moral development, moral impact, and teaching strategies. Research findings revealed that the four processes of moral development by Lickona was found to be strongly practiced in Rizal class. The four processes as practiced inside the classroom can possibly bring moral impact to the students themselves, their family, the community, and the country. This moral impact is possible if the teacher uses the appropriate teaching strategy that allows moral values inculcation in the process of discussing the content. There are problems like time management that may affect in sustaining the acquired morality inside the classroom.

Christian ethics is part of ethics in general, but Christian ethics differs from ethics in general, the difference specifically lies in the word Christian. Character is something that is found in individuals that characterize individual personalities that are different from others in the form of attitudes, thoughts, and actions. Character problems are now a problem for some countries especially for Indonesians.The character problems that can be felt are the number of minors especially often encountered by junior high school students in Indonesia who have begun to recognize associations that do not conform to the Word of God as well as smoking, drinking liquor, drugs, and free sex associations that are increasingly rampant due to the lack of supervision from parents and in this day and age many children are easily affected. Thus, this research is intended to see how important the growth of Christian Ethics towards the Character of Junior High School Students YPK 1 in Malang. The research used in this study is a type of quantitative research experiment. The results of this study show that correlation analysis shows a positive and significant relationship between Christian ethics learning to the character of Christian Junior High School students 1 YPK in Malang. the relationship between Christian ethics learning and significant Christian character and of positive correlation values can be said, the higher the christian ethics lesson and the character of Christian students, the higher the character of the students of Christian Junior High School 1 YPK in Malang. Similarly, if the lower the christian ethics learning, the lower the character of the students of Christian Junior High School 1 YPK in Malang.

Elementary School Teacher Candidates' Perceptions and Definitions on Morality and Moral Education İlköğretim Okulu Öğretmen Adaylarinin Ahlak ve Ahlak Eğitimi Algilari ve Tanimlari

The purpose of this study was to understand how elementary school teacher candidates define morality and moral education, (ii) evaluate their pre-service education in terms of their preparation for the role of supporting moral development of their prospective students, and (iii) envision their role in students’ moral development. Data were collected by using a survey questionnaire which required content analysis. The findings showed that teacher candidates (N=84) defined morality around universal values such as honesty, respectfulness and social rules. According to teacher candidates, raising a moral person was initially the responsibility of families, teachers’ role was complementary. The negative effect of media and social surrounding were criticized by the participants.
