The recent scientific discovery that precise descriptions of world-shaking events seem to be encoded into the first five books of the Bible has captured the world's attention. No one in ancient times could have had such knowledge - from what grew in the Garden of Eden to details of the Gulf War and much more. But if no individual put the codes there, who did? If the codes are proved to be genuine - and as yet some of today's greatest scientific minds have been unable to disprove them - they would be tantamount to scientific proof of the existence of God. Cracking the Bible Code is the first accurate and fully documented account of the codes - a story far more rich, strange, and stunning than has yet been told. Dr. Jeffrey Satinover uncovers the codes' fascinating past, counters recent sensational and inaccurate representations of the codes, explains the current heated debate about their authenticity, and clarifies their profound implications for our view of God, faith, a...
In this landmark two-hour special, NOVA takes viewers on a scientific journey that began 3,000 years ago and continues today. The film presents the latest archeological scholarship from the Holy Land to explore the beginnings of modern religion and the origins of the Hebrew Bible, also known as the Old Testament. This archeological detective story tackles some of the biggest questions in biblical studies: Where did the ancient Israelites come from? Who wrote the Bible, when, and why? How did the worship of one God—the foundation of modern Judaism, Christianity, and Islam—emerge?

The Bible's Buried Secrets is yet another presentation of that warn out old hypothesis first presented by Julius Wellhausen 1 (1844-1918) so long ago. 2 Practically every major Old Testament theologian who has ever written has either presented a different variation of the Documentary Hypothesis or a refutation of it. I have the books of roughly a half-dozen such experts in my library. Notably, these critics do not agree with each other, which might give us an indication that the only thing widely accepted is the theory's name. Some of these hypotheses view the Torah as segmented like an orange, while others view the Torah as shelled like an onion: this is only the tip of the iceberg. Suffice it to say that there is no Documentary Hypothesis; rather, there are several Documentary Hypotheses.
MYSTERIES HIDDEN FROM THE CHURCH
Thesis #94 of 95 - Certain important (but non-essential) mysteries have been hidden from the Church during much of her earthly pilgrimage. BIBLICAL REFERENCES Acts1:7 Jesus said to them, “It is not for you (apostles) to know times or epochs which the Father has fixed by His own authority” Eph3:9-10 [NASB] (Paul) to enlighten all people as to what the plan of the mystery is which for ages has been hidden in God, who created all things; so that the multifaceted wisdom of God might NOW be made known through the church to the rulers and the authorities in the heavenly places. 1Tim2:6 (Christ) gave himself as a ransom for all, the evidence for which [μαρτύριονG3142] to be provided in due time. Rom8:19-21 [NASB] For the eagerly awaiting creation waits for the revealing of the sons and daughters of God. For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly but because of Him who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself also will be set free from its slavery to corruption into the freedom of the glory of the children of God. Rev10:2-4 (The angel) had in his hand a little book, which was open. He placed his right foot on the sea and his left on the land; and he cried out with a loud voice, as when a lion roars; and when he had cried out, the seven peals of thunder uttered their voices. When the seven peals of thunder had spoken, I was about to write; and I heard a voice from heaven, saying, “Seal up the things which the seven peals of thunder have spoken, and do not write them. Mal4:5-6 Lo, I will send you the prophet ‘Elijah’ before the great and terrible day of the Lord comes. He will turn the hearts of the fathers to their children and the hearts of children to their fathers, otherwise I will come and strike the land with a curse. Mt24:14 This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come.

This paper is being re-presented as extended discussion of Emmet Sweeney's paper, "Was Thutmose III The Pharaoh Who Plundered Solomon's Temple"? This paper introduces a brief glimpse at some of the science and mathematics involved in such a quest. The redating of Egyptian Royalty is an exceedingly complex problem posed against the Egyptian provenance of scarab records.

A paper of Witztum, Rips and Rosenberg in this journal in 1994 made the extraordinary claim that the Hebrew text of the Book of Genesis encodes events which did not occur until millennia after the text was written. In reply, we argue that Witztum, Rips and Rosenberg's case is fatally defective, indeed that their result merely reflects on the choices made in designing their experiment and collecting the data for it. We present extensive evidence in support of that conclusion. We also report on many new experiments of our own, all of which failed to detect the alleged phenomenon. Contents
The Secret Codes in the Scripture and the Alphabets
Most ancient, artificial structures may have been structured as excellently designed compositions, of which the architecture is to be gradually being deteriorated up to be forgotten or forever lost. Around 1990 I discovered one of the easily identifiable compositions, in which the erg-pronouns (IEU) seemed to be integrated in divine names for the sky-gods (DIEU). This identification turned out to be one of the most recent, linguistic inventions, which is located in a restricted area and could not be expanded to a larger territory. Other, much older inventions are the 2-dimensional alphabets, which intentionally had been composed to display the divine name of the sky-god (usually Diaus, Dieus or Dious) in one of the 2-dimensional alphabetic tables. In a reordered structure (and restricted to a few languages) these 2-dimensional alphabetic tables also display two different, ancient words for the most important virtues. In Greek language the 5-letter words for these important virtues (Metis and Themis) are correlating. Metis is the first consort of Zeus and symbolizes Wisdom), whereas Themis is the second consort, who symbolizes Justice). In Germanic languages the 5-letter words for these important virtues may be identified as the gods for the days of the week: “Witaz” (as Wisdom) for Wednesday and “Tiwaz” (as Justice) for Tuesday. In the course of time the Germanic sky-god (maybe in Gothic: Teiws) is missing in thee days of the week.
