Determinants of Entrepreneurial Intention among University Students (original) (raw)
Unemployment among the graduates has become a serious issues in Malaysia. Many programs and incentives are being developed by the government especially for the graduates to grab the opportunity to become an entrepreneur. Unfortunately, still it is less succeeded to attract their intention to choose entrepreneur as a career. Therefore, study on factors affecting the entrepreneurial intention (dependant variable), had been conducted. Four independent variables had been chosen; (1) attitude towards the behaviour,(2) perceived behavioral control, (3) subjective norms and (4) entrepreneurship education. The questionnaires were distributed to 175 students of Faculty of Business Administration at UiTM Cawangan Melaka Kampus Bandaraya Melaka and the data were collected using convenience sampling method.
