International Journal of Engineering Research and, 2020
Distribution transformers are one of the most important equipment in power network. Because of, the large number of transformer distributed over a wide area in power electric system, the data acquisition and condition monitoring is a important issue. To monitor this operator has to visit to transformer location itself. The main aim of this system is to monitoring the distribution transformer parameter like load current, voltage, oil level and oil temperature using IOT. So using this it can minimize working efforts and improve accuracy, stability and efficiency. Sensors are used to sense the main parameters of equipment such as voltage, current, temperature and oil level, this sensed data is sent to ESP 32 microcontroller. ESP 32 is a series of low cost, low power on a chip microcontroller with integrated Wi-Fi and dual mode Bluetooth. So, there is no need to connect Wi-Fi module externally, hence size of project is also small. This controller checks parameter limits which further send to the IOT web server Blynk software using Wi-Fi module of these data makes sure the right information is in hand to the operator and operator can make useful decisions before any catastrophic failure on basis of that data of parameters.

International Journal of Scientific Research in Science, Engineering and Technology, 2020
In this project represents the real time monitoring of a distribution transformation based on iot, i.e. Implemented on a mobile embedded system to measure to load current, voltage, temperature and humidity. The internet of things is an online based working of physical devices, vehicles and other objects which consists of an embedded system with sensors, actuators and network connectivity that collect and exchange data. The iot allows the objects to be sensed and/or controlled remotely across the existing network of the physical world into computer-based systems, and result in improved accuracy, efficiency and economic benefits. It is installed at the distribution transformer site. The load current, voltage, temperature and humidity of the distribution transformer is measured by the sensors are processed and recorded in the system memory. The system is programmed with a code to check the abnormal condition. The iot will help the utilities to monitor the distribution transformer in minute to minute date transfer to the user to identify the problems before any catastrophicfailure occurs. Hence the minute to minute monitoring of a distribution transformer health measuring will help us to identify or predict the unexpected situations before any fault occurs which leads to a greater economic loss.

Real Time Transformer Health Monitoring System using IOT Technology
Here this document presents design and implementation of a mobile embedded system to measure load currents, over voltage, transformer oil level and oil temperature. This is implemented by using on-line measuring system using Internet of Things (IOT), with single chip Arduino microcontroller and sensors. It is installed at the distribution transformer site. The output values of sensors are processed and recorded in the system memory. System programmed with some predefined instructions to check abnormal conditions. If there is any abnormality on the system, details are automatically updated in the internet through serial communication. This Internet of Things (IOT) will help the utilities to optimally utilize transformers and identify problems before any catastrophic failure occurs. Thus online-measuring system is used to collect and analyze temperature data over time. So Transformer Health Measuring will help to identify or recognize unexpected situations before any serious failure which leads to a greater reliability and significant cost savings.
Monitoring and Control of Operational Parameters of Distribution Transformer using IoT Technology
Distribution transformers are one of the most important equipment in power system network. Because of the large numbers of transformers are widely used in the power system, Therefore the data acquisition and monitoring is important issue in the large distribution network. The main objective of this proposed work is that distribution transformer monitoring and controlling through IoT technology. The signal is sent to control room using a IOT technique interfaced with WI FI connectivity. When the power supply is interrupted due to faults in the one transformer then load sharing is done on the other transformer through IoT technology, If any deviation in the operational parameter or any disturbance occurs, the system sends SMS (short message service) messages to the mobile phones containing information about the deviation according to some predefined instructions programmed in the micro controller to safeguard the transformer against technical problems like over working temperature, low oil level and over load. At present man power is employed and there is no accuracy, safety and reliability for distribution of power supply. Therefore proposed work is designed efficiently to overcome these problems using IoT technology.

In power system network, the most preferable electrical equipment for supplying power from the generating station to the consumers with the help of transmission lines is a transformer. It assists mankind with its long time service when operated under its rated conditions. Overloading and excessive cooling is the major cause of collapsing the transformer. Thus, to protect the transformer from these factors, a real-time monitoring system is required so that all the operating parameters like oil level, load current, winding temperature and voltage output can be taken care of. To maintain the reliability in grid operation it is important to monitor real time transformer health. In the proposed paper the main purpose is to get the real time figures about transformer remotely under the aegis of IOT. This application can be performed with the help of one current sensor (I), one voltage sensor (V), one temperature-humidity sensor (T-H) and one IR sensor. These sensors read analog values from the equipment's and for this reason it is connected to microcontroller through an ADC (analog to digital converter). The collected data will be sent using Wi-Fi module also it can be accessible from anywhere in the globe using IOT technology as well as HTTP protocol. This real-time transformer health monitoring system has greater reliability and significant cost saving also it helps to identify the scenario before causing any serious failure.
