Development of a mathematical model of reliable structures of information-control systems
Eastern-European Journal of Enterprise Technologies
A mathematical model of the information system (IS) for monitoring the state of objects that may be exposed to extreme influences has been built. The system consists of n devices that work independently of each other. To construct the specified information system, which has the minimum permissible reliability of event recognition, a class of structures of the type «k with n» is considered. Formulas for determining the probabilistic characteristics of n parallel reserved sensors for structures of the «k with n» type were derived; the probability of these events was calculated; and plots of their distribution were constructed. The peculiarity of the derived formulas is that they can be implemented on logical elements with which one can build a physical decision support device. The number of sensors and their corresponding probabilities of correct detection of fire at the given majority values of fire probability were also determined; the cost indicators of the information system were ...

This article presents a model and an algorithm for identifying, collecting, processing, analyzing and using data on risks at an airline (deviations from the standards in the activities of various airline units and personnel) to minimize them and thereby to achieve an acceptable level of flight safety. A methodology is also presented for formulating the composition of flight safety indicators, based on an expert approach, for the units and personnel of the airline, making decisions in this field in various areas of its activities. The model is based on the quality and flight safety systems that form part of an integrated management system at one of Latvia’s airlines. The system makes it possible to analyze safety aspects on the basis of actual information drawn from various sources into the airline’s information base, where it is collected, classified, stored and analyzed.

The article shows analysis of flight safety indices and aviation security of the Russian Federation in comparison with global indices. Based on the analysis results, conclusions have been made about the necessity in systematization of data acquisition and processing in the task of increasing the level of flight safety and aviation security by means of joining of regulatory bodies and servicing providers within the considered activity areas into a single information space. The possibilities to use principle of continuous monitoring mechanism are considered within the framework of universal check programs of ICAO in the areas of control assurance for flight assurance and aviation security in relation to tasks on construction of information systems of state control and monitoring within the concerned activity areas. Due to complexity and evident interaction of state systems of control for flight safety and aviation security assurance an approach is proposed for creation of two-level system for monitoring of control efficiency for flight safety and aviation security.

The article discusses the issue of air traffic safety in the context of aircraft combat readiness. Implemented methodological approaches to ensure security of civil and military aviation depend on the achieved level of safety The article points out selected aspects of data analysis in the field of flight safety gathered in IT systems functioning in civil and military aviation supporting the management of flight safety. Selected aspects of data analysis with different tools influencing the safety of flights are presented. The article also points to the role of the inspection functions and supervision at the stage of execution of normative acts on safety and conduct of flights and the implementation of projects to ensure flight safety. The development of projects firstly preventing air accidents is mentioned as an important action to support flight safety. Increasing level of flight safety in civil and military aviation requires searching for methods to support decisions and actions. ...

METHOD DEVELOPMENT OF THE INFORMATION MODELS' DESIGN AND SYNTHESIS FOR INFOCOMMUNICATION SYSTEMS OF AIR TRAFFIC CONTROL Ab s t r a c t. The present article describes research of information models' design and synthesis as a necessary component of the information provision system for decision-makers in infocommunication air traffic control systems. It gives analysis of possible information models' construction and suggests linear or hierarchical structure for relatively simple situations. We use combined information model that permits to take into account possible changes in any situation, which lead to a significant increase of displayed information. The present study shows interrelations that give an opportunity to evaluate the characteristics of information models at the stage of their ergonomic design and to determine the number of information elements in a single displayed program, considering the minimization of search time of the specified element. It suggests possible variants of common use for different ways of information display of an individual as well as group and collective usage. Estimating the system efficiency to ensure aircraft flight safety
Journal of KONBiN, 2015
In the article was presented approach logical - probabilistic to assess the efficiency of the flight safety assurance system of aircraft considering that it is justified by the random nature of the process, which describe the indicators and logic is necessary during qualifying the threats and prevent such threats. Was proposed a method of quantitative estimation of system efficiency based on data and information collected in the information systems exploited in the Air Force. Was presented an analytical method for determining the probability of counteracting by the pilot emergency situation in-flight in cases where we have relevant data on the risks of flight safety. The probability of counteracting by the pilot emergency situation in-flight is even greater the higher the expected value and the lower the variance.

Modern aviation systems are complex hierarchical computing systems, coupled with a powerful periphery (digital board). The flight is performed with constant communication with ground control points and requires exchange of large amounts of data. The reliability of the systems providing flight can be violated due to equipment failures, human factor and external unauthorized exposure. The paper discusses the issues of guaranteeing the reliability of telemetry information transmission systems on the state of the aircraft and its systems based on artificial intelligence methods in terms of ensuring information security. The structure of the imitation stand is proposed to test the system for transmitting telemetric information about the state of on board airborne systems to the ground. The purpose of such system is to improve the efficiency of modelling and analysis of the system's security.
Incidents, alarms and events in information and control systems
2014 IEEE 12th International Symposium on Applied Machine Intelligence and Informatics (SAMI), 2014
Information and control system (ICS) creates the complete functionality of system intended to utilization of information. If we consider information system and control system as two different systems, every system consists of some special form of monitoring application which draws attention on activities (data) with higher level of importance than usual information and data. This paper presents designing a system that connects monitoring of information from business and production unit in corporation implementing the solutions from incident management to lower level of control (alarm and event subsystem).
