Internet of Things (IoT) – A Technological Analysis and Survey on Vision, Concepts, Challenges, Innovation Directions, Technologies, and Applications (An Upcoming or Future Generation Computer Communication System Technology

The Internet of Things (IoT) has been inscription in this review paper. Internet of Things is a keyword to cover various challenges related to internet and the web to the real physical world. We know that, today internet has already taken an important part of everyday life and it has also dramatically changed the lives of human being. The most important factor of this invention is, integration or combination of several technologies with the communication system solutions. The most applicable factors of IoT is the identification and tracking various factors for smart objects. The universal sensing networks is enabled by Wireless Sensing Networks (WSN) and these technologies cuts across many areas of modern day living. The escalation of these devices in a communicating and actuating network will create the Internet of Things (IoT). Here the sensors and actuators combine easily with the environment around us and the information is shared across various platforms in order to develop a common operating picture (COP). Internet of Things predicts the future that, the advance digital world and the physical world will get linked by means of proper information and wireless communication system technologies. In this survey paper we have mentioned the visions, concepts, technologies, various challenges, some innovation directions, and various applications of Internet of Things (IoT).

Concept of IoT becomes reality by using strong framework of cloud computing, sensors, actuators. It is expanding right from smart homes to smart cities, from domestic field to industries. Smart homes, wearable's, smart grids, connected car, connected health, connected retail are in-trend applications of IoT. This paper explains current trends in IoT and future of IoT. This IoT is having bright future and it trends in number of devices. There are still some challenges in social and technical domains. Various important concepts such as sensors, Network function virtualization, IoT IoE IoNT, smart objects and smart environment are explained in this paper.

The main goal is related to the Internet of Things is to combine all possible objects in this world under a common framework, not only also have can control on that object which is available in our surroundings,but also keep us up to date of their state related to that object.As an output, a huge amount of data is being generated and will be stored and after that this data is being processed in useful actions when needed then here we have command and control on that object, so that our life will be much simpler and secure and our impact on the environment will be reduced.In this era, internet access is convenient to individuals on their mobile devices as well as systems, so that easily information can be transferred through the internet at less cost.The main focus of this paper is to give an overview related to the Internet of things, their architectures, and important technologies and its applications and how these things play an important role in our daily life.

IOT is the technology that deals with the real world, by using various types of sensors attached to the devices which are connected and operated by the use of internet either wired or wirelessly. These sensors are used by connecting via RFID, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth to connect over a wide area using different kinds of technologies together such as GPRS, 3G and LTE Volte. By the use of IOT, we can share information and the behavior of any devices with respect to its surrounding environment. Because of the IOT, we become smart and our lifestyle will become easier because it automates the devices so that we can operate any machine using mobile phones or by voice control. Therefore, it saves the time and energy as the work will be completed automatically. It has so many advantages in the form of smart cities, smart homes and buildings. The Internet or the net in simple term can be described as the worldwide system of an interconnected network that uses the IP Suit-TCP/IP. Our main objective of writing this paper is to give a generalized idea about this most important technology "Internet of Things".

Some of the significant transformations that have been achieved through IoT are smart homes, smart transportation, smart city, and control of pollution. A considerable number of studies have been conducted and continue to be done to increase the use of technology through IoT. Furthermore, the research about IoT has not been done fully in improving the application of technology through IoT. Besides, IoT experiences several problems that need to be considered in order to get the full capability of IoT in changing society. This research paper addresses the key applications of IoT, the architecture of IoT, and the key issues affecting IoT. In addition, the paper highlights how big data analytics is essential in improving the effectiveness of IoT in various applications within society.

This paper also focus on the middleware which acts as a software layer between the IT infrastructures and also hides the implementation technalities of the programmers.
