This research aims to prove the effect of managerial ownership, debt policy, and firm size on tax aggressiveness companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period2008-2010. The selection ofmanufacturing companyas ansubject of studyoptionsin linewiththe conclusionofthe Zimmerman research (1983). Results fromthis study is higher the ratio of managerial ownership level sindicates lower level of the taxaggressiveness but because the probability values above 0.05 so the first hypothesis is not proven. Meansthere is still adesire for profitorrent seeking. Then, higher the proportion of debt indicatesdecrease in aggressive tax policy but because the probability values above 0.05 so the second hypothesis is not proven. It means that the addition of the proportion of debt is not always negative connotations to reduce the company's profit before tax. Yet the participation of creditors to monitor the performance of the debtor company participates in helping reduce the level of tax aggressiveness. Next, bigger the company indicates less aggressive in taxation policy and the relationship is proven because the probability value below 0.05. The majority of state revenue in Indonesia comes from taxes. Taxes such as corporate income tax have the potential to significantly increase tax revenue. The KUP Law states that the tax imposed on income or income earned by an entity is called corporate income tax (PPh Badan). This study aims to determine the variables that affect corporate income tax both partially and simultaneously, as well as variables that dominate profitability, liquidity, and operating costs. Companies that produce industrial and consumer goods and are listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange between 2019 and 2022 constitute the population used. Purposive sampling was used to collect a total of 88 data samples. IBM SPSS Version 29 is utilized in data analysis, and provides descriptive statistical analysis, multiple linear regression analysis, hypothesis testing, determinant test (R2), t test, and F test.

This study aims to empirically prove the effect of taxation knowledge, tax supervision, tax socialization, taxpayer awareness, and quality of tax services on individual taxpayers' annual tax return reporting with tax sanctions as a moderating variable. Respondents in this study were 100 individual taxpayers registered at Pratama West Medan. The sampling technique in this research is using the purposive sampling technique. The data used are primary. The data analysis tool used is SEM-PLS. The study results indicate that tax knowledge and tax service quality significantly affect reporting individual taxpayers' annual tax returns at the Pratama Medan Barat Tax Office. Tax sanctions are able to moderate the effect of taxation socialization on the reporting of the annual tax return of individual taxpayers at the Pratama Medan Barat Tax Office. However, it cannot moderate the effect of tax knowledge, tax supervision, taxpayer awareness and quality of tax services on the reporting of individual taxpayers' annual tax returns at the Pratama Medan Barat Tax Office.

Companies tend to show higher profits for the motivation to maintain the reputation of the stakeholders. And therefore companies often perform earnings management activities. But on the other hand the company must pay tax on the income earned in the state. Impact of Corporate Taxation on Profitability of Selected Companies – An Empirical Investigation

The present paper is aimed at empirically evaluating the effect of corporate taxation on profitability of the selected companies under manufacturing and service sectors in India using financial data from the year 2001-02 to 2016-17. The pharmaceutical companies under manufacturing sector and hotels under service sector are considered for the study. Return on Assets (ROA) is used as proxy for profitability and statutory tax, effective tax and tax savings are the variables for corporate taxation. Correlation and Multiple regression analysis are used to analyze the data. In the regression, profitability is the dependent and tax variables are independent. Apart from tax variables, the firm characteristics such as financial risk, growth, size, tangibility, liquidity, non-debt tax shield. It is found from the results of the analysis that the profitability is affected by effective tax and tax savings but not by statutory tax.

Small Medium Enterprises (SME) in Indonesia absorb 96% of the workforce and contribute 60% of Indonesia's GDP. This shows the magnitude of potential tax revenue for SME. Government Regulation No. 23 of 2018 which changes the rates to 0.5% is expected to make it easier for SME to comply with their tax obligations. The purpose of this study was to look at the influence between Understanding of Tax Regulations, Tax Sanctions, and Tax Rates on SME Tax Compliance in Bantul Regency This research is used descriptive method.The population in this study were all SME actors in Bantul Regency, and the sample was 100 SME actors in Bantul Regency. The destination of the study is to know and analyze the influence of management profit, profitability, leverage, firm size, ownership managerial, ownership institutions, and audit quality of tax avoidance simultaneously. The Population in this study is registered company in sector consumer goods companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the period 2016-2020. The Sample in this study was determined by using a purposive sampling technique.The type of data used is secondary data and testing the hypothesis used with STATA software. Test results hypothesis prove that many variables that are not taking a positive effect on avoidance tax. Such as variable management profit, size company, ownership managerial, and ownership institutional are negative. Variable profitability, leverage, and audit quality show the opposite result of this research is positive.

This study aims to determine the effect of profitability, liquidity, leverage, capital intensity and firm size on tax aggressiveness with market performance as an intervening variable. The sample used in this study was 43 banks registered on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2014 - 2018. This study uses secondary data taken from the banking financial statements, which are processed using amous software. Profitability is proxied with ROA, liquidity with current ratio, leverage with DER, capital intensity with CAP, Size with (Ln total assets), market performance with tobin's q and tax aggressiveness proxied with ETR. The results of this study indicate that profitability, leverage, firm size affect market performance while liquidity and capital intensity do not affect market performance.
