Small enterprises have a strong influence in Indonesian economic but yet, they are facing a lot of problems in doing their business are. The government give some stimuli to help them since their roles in Indonesian economic both as an entrepreneur and as consumers of products are very important because their population is keep increasing year by year, therefore it is interesting to know what factors are influence their consumption. The analytical tool that is used in this research is regression. The three research subjects are located in Gondanglegi, Malang Regency. The demographic characteristics of a leader are important for small businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic. Several researchers have proven that demographic characteristics affect business success. Unfortunately, business success has only been analyzed from a financial perspective and has not been compared to the owner’s interests perspective. This study examines business success from both perspectives. This study aims to analyze the demographic characteristics of small entrepreneurs and their impact on business success. SME’s household work time in Sawahlunto City West Sumatera Indonesia

This study analyses the outpouring of household work time for cassava cracker business actors in Sawahlunto City, West Sumatera Indonesia. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative and descriptive quantitative with a survey approach. The sampling method is simple random sampling of 25 households. The data collection method used was interviews using an interview guide. The results of the study show that female workers devote more time to MSME businesses. The amount of working time for women is 10.88 HOK/month. Meanwhile, male workers devote their working time to 6.25 HOK/month. They carry out production activities every 3-7 times a week. The price of cassava crackers ranges from IDR 15,000-35,000/kg. In cassava farming and other productive activities, male workers devote more of their working time than female workers. Male workers devote their working time to cassava farming of 3.14 HOK/month and to other productive activities of 4.58 HOK/month.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the contribution of micro businesses women (MBW) to their business and families. This research was conducted in five districts / cities were determined purposively with consideration of its regional characteristics and business community that generally involved in fisheries subsector. Those five districts are West Muna, South Konawe, Kolaka, Baubau city, and Kendari city. MBW contribution to their business then analyzed using descriptive analysis. Developments in rural areas since they have received funding for development tend to change household consumption patterns; therefore the attention to rural consumption patterns is a good topic for scientific research. This research aims to recognize the consumption patterns of five dominant food commodities by using a descriptive analysis of 6.178 households obtained through the national secondary data of the 2017 National Social and Economic Survey. Identified: (1) rice; (2) cigarettes; (3) mixed rice; (4) fish; and (5) sugar, which is the five biggest consumption commodities in rural households and it is found that consumption tended to increase along with increased income.

Study on Determinant Factors of Micro and Small Enterprises Development in South Sulawesi of Indonesia

The purposes of this study is to examine factors determinants of development of micro and small enterprises in South Sulawesi, Indonesia. This research was conducted in two regions namely, Makassar and Gowa. Total respondents are 150 people, and 10 people as key informants. Data is analyzed by using Descriptive Statistic, Structural Equation Modeling, and Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). The results show that the development of micro and small businesses should consider the internal aspects namely human resources, finance, production, and marketing. Then, the external aspects namely government policies, socioeconomic and cultural, the role of related institutions, and information technology. Development strategy is more focused on internal capacity improvement than external. Furthermore, the other factors that determine the performance of Micro and Small business are capital, training, market information, marketing network, promotional of products, and institutional capacity.

Red chili was a strategic food commodity. Demand for red chili tends to increase, while production and prices fluctuate so as to affect the inflation rate was quite significant. Information about red chili consumer behavior can be used for product planning and price control. The purpose of this research was to know (1) the characteristics of red chili consumers, (2) the consumption pattern of red chili on household, and (3) the correlation between consumer characteristic and red chili consumption pattern. The research method was descriptive survey. Data collection with structured interviews and observation. Data analysis with cross tabulation and chi-square correlation test.
