Purpose – The objective of this study is to find whether the independent variable, which is financial literacy, attitude towards saving, subjective norms, family socialization has a significant impact on the mediating variable, which is saving intention during the pandemic situation. Financial Literacy and Financial Coping Strategy During Covid-19 Pandemic in West Sumatra

The Covid-19 pandemic has affected health conditions and the living standard of many families in Indonesia, including in West Sumatra. This study aims to analyse how the financial literacy possessed by each individual family members helps their financial conditions to be able to mitigate and survive from the adverse economic effects caused by the public health crisis, including choosing the best coping strategies. To attain those objectives, we conduct an online survey using a structured questionnaire and a convenience sampling method to 229 respondents aged over 17 years old living in each regions in West Sumatra. Using a simple descriptive statistical analysis, the results show that the impact of Covid-19 crisis is more substantial for individuals with lower financial literacy, especially related to financial obligations and resilience to long-term financial liabilities. An Analysis of Financial Impact of Coronavirus Disease 2019 Pandemic among People in Indonesia: A Case of Health Personnel

BACKGROUND: Pandemic of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) has a financial impact among people in Indonesia, including health workers as the frontline in handling COVID-19 patients. AIM: This study aims to determine the financial impact of the COVID-19 pandemic among health workers in Indonesia. METHODOLOGY: This observational and cross-sectional study involved 184 health workers. Data analysis was performed using the descriptive analysis method by calculating each variable’s average score, comparing the averages for income variables and expenditure variables. RESULTS: The average income before the pandemic was IDR 15,100,000 ± 10,909,764, while the average income during the pandemic was IDR 13,993,206 ± 10,210,825. This study aims to analyze the impact of Covid-19 in Indonesia on commercial banks, especially in obtaining interest based income and proportion of interest based income as the main income of banks. This study uses quantitative descriptive method. The research was conducted Indonesia Stock Exchange, second quarter periode of 2018-2021. Banking is one of the financial institutions that is very influential on the economic conditions of a country. The level of banking liquidity is a reflection of the condition of the national economy. This study examines the differences in the financial performance of conventional banking and Islamic financial performance before and during the COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia. The variables used to measure banking financial performance are risk profile, earnings, and capital. The data used are financial reports published by Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK). Impact of The Covid-19 Pandemic on the Household Economy in Pontianak Authors: Meiran Panggabean 1 ; Tulus Gover Siringo-ringo 2

The purpose of this study was to determine the economic impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the household economy and the strategies carried out by households so that the household economy was surviving and sustainable. The method used is a survey method with a sampling technique using purposive sampling. The number of samples was 353 households with the criteria of employment status as workers who were laid off/laid off, canteen traders inside school/campus and outside school/campus and informal sector workers. Data collection is carried out after entering the new normal (early June 2020). Data analysis is descriptive with qualitative and quantitative approaches. The results of the study revealed a very drastic decline in income, to the point of zero (no income), especially respondents who worked as traders (canteens) in schools/ campuses and workers who were PHK/laid off. The strategies/way of the head of the household to deal with the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic are varied, namely taking debt (4.8%), trading/selling (traditional and online) (26.6%), frugal (18.1%), using savings (22 .1%), Changing consumption patterns (14.2%), Switching jobs (ojek/taxi on line), 8.2%, Selling assets (1.4%).

Financial perfomance before and during the covid 19 pandemic on Indonesia soe Banking

The purpose of this study was to analyze the financial performance of Indonesian State-Owned-Enterprise in banking sector before and during the Covid-19 pandemic. So far, state-owned banks have had superior financial performance, but the economic slowdown during the COVID-19 pandemic has hit their performance hard. Secondary data used in this study are collecting from each bank financial report. Financial performance analysis conducted towards Cash Acquisiton Ratio, Non Performing Loan, Loan to Deposit Ratio, and Return On Assets. Then each ratio is compared with the composite banking index. Furthermore, statistical descriptive analysis and paired sample t-test complete the data analysis. This study concludes that there are significant differences in state-owned banking financial performance before and during the Covid-19 pandemic, especially in the decline in Non Performing Loan.

Comparison Level of Financial Distress before and During the Covid-19 Pandemic in Indonesia

The purpose of this study was to determine the level of financial distress that occurred before and for the duration of the Covid-19 pandemic in manufacturing corporations on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. By performing an Altman z-score analysis using five ratios of working capital to total assets, retained earnings to total assets, earnings before interest and taxes to total assets, market value equity to book value of total debt, and sales to total assets. This study is a type of quantitative study that utilizes of secondary data. The data used in the financial statement of the main record board of manufacturing companies was for the period 2017- 2020. COVID-19 has impacted the life of people.It has made movement standstill. Spending and saving Behaviour of people has been also been effected to grate extent. This study is conducted to know about behaviour pattern of people regarding spending and saving during the global pandemic of covid-19.There are many aspects that can make customers spending and saving behaviour differ. The factor of age does not affect the costumers behaviour of spending and savings, this statement is proved through the Chi Square Test applied on the factors i.e. age of the customers and their average monthly spending and savings. It is also proved by conducting the Chi Square Test, that spending and savings behaviour of people before and during the lockdown have no impact on each other. People's decision of spending and savings can differ due to the situation that they may face. In this situation maximum percent of the population have experienced and reduction in spending and increase in their savings.

How Has the COVID-19 Pandemic Affected the Real and Monetary Sectors in Indonesia?

This study aims to find empirical evidence for the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic on the Indonesia real and monetary sectors. The real sector condition is represented by fluctuations in the farmer exchange rate in ten provinces; this rate has direct and indirect effects on farmers’ welfare. On the other hand, the condition of the monetary sector is illustrated by shifts in the consumer confidence index due to fluctuations in Islamic and conventional financial system indicators. We used a panel regression model to examine the farmer exchange rate and a binary logistic regression model to examine the consumer confidence index. The results statistically demonstrate that the pandemic conditions have affected both the real sector and the consumer confidence index of the Islamic financial sector.
