The study aimed to determine factors influence the decision making the process of the students to choose master or doctorate programs at the at Department of Resources and Environmental Economics, FEM IPB. This research was conducted by using the quantitatively descriptive analysis and multiple regression analysis methods. A survey to 54 the students of Magister and a survey to 51 the students of Doctor was administered to learn the reason of the students took the final decision to the further study at the at Department of Resources and Environmental Economics, FEM IPB. The variables observed were the product, price, location, promotion, process, people, physical evidence, assignments from workplace institutions, availability of sponsors, self-motivation. Beberapa aspek yang kemungkinan besar berpengaruh pada pengambilan keputusan mahasiswa seperti biaya pendidikan, citra prodi, fasilitas pendidikan. Biaya pendidikan merupakan salah satu faktor yang diperhitungkan oleh calon mahasiswa. Memperhitungkan kemampuan dirinya sendiri maupun orang tua dalam membayar dan membiayai kebutuhan selama menempuh pendidikan. Biaya pendidikan merupakan komponen yang sangat penting dalam penyelenggaraan pendidikan, tanpa dukungan biaya maka proses pendidikan tidak akan berjalan dengan baik. This type of research is case study research. The data used in this study are primary data. The population is high school students in Lampung province. The sampling technique uses probability sampling techniques, namely Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling using the Slovin formula. Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling is a sampling technique when a population has heterogeneous members or elements and is proportionally stratified. Therefore, the sampling to be taken is high school / vocational students grade 1, 2, and 3 in this study. Furthermore, the measurement of variables in the study used the Semantic Differential Scale with factors of interest, motivation, parental background, expected work, and learning environment as variables.

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui faktor-faktor apa saja yang memengaruhi keputusan mahasiswa dalam memilih rumah kost. Data yang digunakan adalah data primer, yang diperoleh dari hasil penyebaran kuesioner yang merupakan data persepsi mahasiswa dalam memilih rumah kost. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah metode purposive sampling, dengan sampel penelitian adalah mahasiswa Universitas Udayana yang tinggal di rumah kost di daerah Bukit Jimbaran dan Denpasar yang masih aktif kuliah yaitu angkatan 2008-2011. Dimensi faktor yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu: faktor referensi, citra/reputasi, keamanan, harga, lingkungan, pelayanan, fasilitas, dan lokasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui daya tarik mahasiswa dalam memilih Program Studi di perguruan Tinggi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yakni, menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa di Perguruan Tinggi Kabupaten Sinjai. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan wawancara dan dokumentasi. Adapun analisis data yang digunakan adalah pengumpulan data, penyajian data, analisi data dan mengambil kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa orang tua memiliki dampak yang besar terhadap pilihan anaknya dari segi pendidikan maupun jenis pekerjaan yang dipilih, Selain itu, mahasiswa memilih program studi karena bakat dan minat, dan prospek masa depan.

This study aims to analyze the factors that influence student decisions in choosing lectures at the Mataram University of Technology (UTM). This research was conducted during September to March, namely on first semester students of the odd semester class of 2021/2022 at the Mataram University of Technology. This research aims to analyze the variables influence the student's decisions in choosing Islamic Economics Department of Islamic Religion Faculty in Siliwangi Univesity at Tasikmalaya and to know the variables give significant influence. This research used a quantitative approach based on cross section obtained through the techniques of data collection with the dissemination of a questionnaire to 189 students as respondents. The data was collected then to be tabulated, done coding then analyzed by statistical tools with computer software or Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS 20.0) 20.0. Using data in this study is significantly complied qualify the normality of the data. The results of this study indicated by value R2 of 0.838 with high value F count (85.998) > than F table (0.95;5;183) or 2.26 so H0 is rejected. This means that there is a linear relationship between independent and dependent variables. It can also be seen from the significance (0.000) < α (0.05) so H0 is rejected. This study explained that there is a significant linear relationship between the independent variables (facilities, the lecturers, job opportunities, costs and reputation campus) with dependent variable. This show that 84% of the entire influence factors are tested simultaneously to the decision significantly.
