Introduction: Depression, anxiety, and stress are the most explored subjects in sports psychology. Various research looked into DAS and its levels in various subjects, games, and sports. We investigated the DAS among different levels of professional badminton players in this study. Aim of Study: The aim of the study is to assess depression, anxiety and stress among professional Badminton players, who represent the state in national tournaments. Material and Methods: For this study the researcher selects thirty (30) players from each group i.e., senior, junior and sub-junior level of Madhya Pradesh. Total no of subject is ninety (N=90). For the current study equal number of subjects were selected randomly from three groups of badminton players. Depression Anxiety and Stress scale (DASS) was used to measure the negative emotional states of depression, anxiety and stress. The descriptive statistics and analysis of variance (One-way Anova) was used for comparing means and for further analysis of data LSD as POST HOC test was used. The primary purpose of the study was to investigate the psychological variables of Kho-Kho players in Kerala. The subjects were selected from various districts of Kerala. The subjects were either state, national, university or international Kho-Kho players. Out of the 280 male and female players in the age group of 15-25 were selected. The variables and test items selected for this study are as given below: Mental toughness-Dr. Alan Gold Berg (2004) mental toughness questionnaire and Self-esteem-Rosenberg Self-esteem Scale (2006) were used for data collection. In order to find out the psychological variables of Kho-Kho players in Kerala; descriptive statistics such as mean, standard deviation are computed for the selected variables. To determine whether the difference exist district wise in selected variables one way ANOVA is used. Level of significant set at 0.01 and 0.05 level. All the statistical analysis are carried out with the help of SPSS 16.0 for windows. The abbreviations were used to represent the districts in all tables and graphs. In this study, it has been found that there was a significant difference in psychological variables of Kho-Kho players in different district.

Research investigated the main objective of the present study was to compare and assess the Kho-Kho players of Delhi colleges and Delhi Schools, who has obtained position at Zonal and inter-Zonal or participated in National School Games (SGFI), Inter-College, Inter University in their sports competition on selected physiological and psychological parameters such as Oral, Heart rate, Breathing rate, Vital capacity, Force full exhalation or Peak flow rate, Psychomotor Ability (DBDA-PM) and Stress level (PSSI) between the players of Kho-Kho at college and school level. For the purpose of the study total 30 Kho-Kho players 15 each at college and school level has been selected on purposively and randomly basis, who has won medal/ position in Delhi Schools Zone, Inter-Zone, inter college, Inter University and participated in National School Games or Inter university during the 2010 and 2011. All the subjects were regularly practicing and competing in their respective sports competition. The result was also anal yzed with the help of requisite graphical representation and its anal ysis. It indicates that the significant difference was found in the Oral, Breathing rate, Peak flow and Vital capacity of Kho-Kho players at both college and school level and same way there were no significant difference was found in the Psychomotor ability and Stress level of Kho-Kho players at both college and school level.
Depression is one of the most common mental disorders, and is one of the illnesses imposing a lot of expenses on health care system in terms of illness weight. With regards to increasing growth of depression, the present study aims at examining the rate of depression and mental health among athletic and non-athletic students of Ardabil City University. Research method is descriptive of ex post facto type in terms of applied objective, which is done as a field study. In this research, the statistical population includes all students in Ardabil City, counting up to 284 students. Due to boundlessness of the size of the population, indefinite population sampling method was used, and random sample of athletic and non-athletic students was examined. General health questionnaire (GHQ) was used for data collection, and to measure depression, Beck test was used. Moreover, for data collection, descriptive statistic method (scale abundance and scale deviance table) and cognitive statistics (T test) were analyzed by SPSS19 software. Results showed that there is a meaningful difference between athletic and non-athletic students in terms of depression score (p<0.05), so that depression score among nonathletic students was more than athletes, and non-athletic students were closer to illness score.

In the beginning of the 21th century, many circumstances took place in Kosovo which were very disturbing and had terrible impacts among people here. War, social crisis, changing and at the end transition, led to a permanent tension state and the same is meant to be considered as normal until reaching a certain degree. In these situations the level of depression among adolescents can be higher. The intention of this research has been to verify the level of depression among adolescents and young sportsmen, precisely sport influence on the level of depression. In this research are included total of 130 respondents, 65 disciples and 65 young sportsmen from Kosovo. Survey was anonymous, and included disciples and sportsmen respondents, were 17-18 years of age. Descriptive statistics and procedures for determination of the importance of diversity between arithmetical average (t-test and variable analysis) are the statistical analyses that were used.
