Frontiers of Multifunctional Integrated Nanosystems

Abstract

The growth of fullerene C60 films on InP(001)-(2×4) was studied by a set of surface science techniques under ultra-high vacuum (UHV) conditions. Spectral signature measured by photoelectron and electron energy-loss spectroscopies (UPS, XPS, EELS, HREELS) corresponds to that of bulk C60 both at low (1–2 monolayers (ML)) and high (10 ML) coverage.
