Presents scientometric analysis of the Journal of Documentation, the aim being to offer a summary. of research activities in library and information science and characterize its most important aspects. 290 articles published during the period 2006 to 2012 in the Journal of Documentation, Covers scientometric analyses of year-wise distribution of articles, category-wise classification of papers, subject wise distribution of articles, authorship patterns, institutions-wise distribution of contributions and prolific authors.
