Introduction: Currently, there are no specific drugs to cure COVID-19, so it is an important strategy to be implemented in the community to increase knowledge and preventive behavior in order to prevent transmission. The purpose of this study was to see the relationship between the level of knowledge and preventive behavior against COVID-19 among Indonesian population.Methods: This study used an analytical method with a cross-sectional design. Samples were taken from the people of Depok City as many as 406 people. The independent variable was knowledge and the dependent variable was preventive behavior. Knowledge, Attitude, and Behavior toward COVID-19 Prevention on Indonesian during Pandemic

AIM: The objective of the study was to know the sociodemographic factor related to the knowledge, attitude, and behavior toward COVID-19 prevention, during COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia. METHODS: Research was conducted through observation with cross-sectional approach and samples were collected using snowball sampling. Research population was the general Indonesian. Questionnaire was used and distributed online for 4 days. Chi-square and regression were used for analysis. RESULTS: Questionnaire distributed was fulfilled completely by 1167 participants from 30 provinces. Gender has a negative correlation with participants’ attitudes and behavior in preventing COVID-19. Age and education were significantly related (p < 0.01) to COVID-19 knowledge and had a significant positive effect (p < 0.01) on attitude and behavior. Lack of knowledge often leads to nonchalant attitudes and improper practices that expose people to greater risks during a pandemic. Therefore, improving the general public’s knowledge, attitudes, and practices (KAP) concerning coronavirus disease (COVID-19) can play a pivotal role in reducing the risks, especially in a country such as Indonesia with its scarcity of health resources for testing and tracing. Using the case of Malang District, this study set out to evaluate KAP regarding COVID-19 and its risk factors immediately after the Malang health authorities implemented various preventive measures. A population-based survey involving 3425 individuals was carried out between 1 May and 20 May 2020. Jakarta-Bogor-Depok-Tangerang-Bekasi (Jabodetabek) is the city with the most populous population in Indonesia. This study aims to explore the knowledge, attitude, and behaviour of Jabodetabek people as an epicentre covid-19 in Indonesia. This study was a descriptive quantitative online study with a survey design used a self-developed online questionnaire on 297 Jabodetabek residents in Indonesia. The chairman of the neighbourhood was encouraged to roll out the google form (link) to as many participants as possible, and then the link was forwarded to the next participants and so on. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. Background:Coronavirus recently spread throughout the world since the first case was found in China. Coronavirus infects many people in Indonesia. The best way to prevent transmission is to do preventive way such as washing hands and using a mask. It should also be supported by the knowledge itself. Aim:This study aimed to know the relationship between knowledge to practice after controlled by confounding variables. Methods: This quantitative research, a cross-sectional study design used primary data conducted from May to June 2020. The data was collected through an online questionnaire that was distributed via WhatsApp. The respondent must be a resident in Parepare City who had to fill the sub-district where they lived to convince them as a sample. While the exclusion criteria was a resident who refused to be a respondent. The total sample was 281 residents. The Independent variable was knowledge and dependent was the practice. The data was analyzed through frequency for univariate, chi-square for bivariate analysis, and logistic regression for multivariate analysis. Results: Most of the respondents tend to have good basic knowledge and good practice toward COVID-19. Besides, good knowledge contributed 1.533 times the possibility of having good practice of preventive action toward COVID-19 compared to respondents with poor knowledge after controlled by education. Conclusions: As a suggestion, knowledge especially the basic one toward COVID-19 needed to improve so the awareness of practices some preventive action can also be formed to reduce the number of positive cases.

Knowledge, attitude, and practice towards COVID-19 among university students in Indonesia: A cross-sectional study

The presence of asymptomatic people exacerbates the widespread Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) transmission. The majority of them come from young people. This study aimed to explore the knowledge, attitude, and practice related to COVID-19 among university students in Indonesia, and the potential factor influenced their knowledge. A cross-sectional study involved 1,427 university students were carried out using an online survey from March 28 to April 10, 2020. A structured questionnaire consist of six sections focuses on knowledge, attitude, and preventive measure related to COVID-19 was used to collect the data. The analysis was performed using descriptive, Mann-Whitney, and Kruskal-Wallis tests.
