Abstract
The background information Bangladesh is situated to the eastern side of India and is surrounded by it in the West, North and East. It is situated between 2034 and 2638 North Latitude and between 8801 and 9241 East Longitude. It has an area of 147,570 sq. kilometers and a population of 160 million by the year of 2005. It has a population density of about 900 persons per sq. kilometer, which is the highest population density in the world. Bangladesh is a tropical country washed by many rivers, largely covered with paddy fields and green vegetation. With all these Bangladesh is famous for its natural beauty. Due to the monsoon rainfall and the silt carried by the three great rivers, the Ganges, the Brahmaputra and the Meghna Bangladesh became a fertile and naturally peaceful land. The country has a history of Mongoloid, Austro-Mongoloid and AustroDravidian settlers.
