Abstract
The article analyses the impact of shadow economic relationships and corruption, as system phenomena in Ukraine, on the effectiveness of cross-border cooperation in the context of expanding Euro-integration processes. The article sets out that the scale of the shadow sector in Ukraine and the development of corruption in its various facets is currently one of the key factors impeding the successful development of our country, its full integration into the global economic space and its entry into the European Union. In light of the recent efforts toward increasing Euro-integration by Ukraine, the problems of transfrontier cooperation including the factors behind its effectiveness, are increasingly topical.
