Quantum Supertwistors (original) (raw)
In this paper, we give an explicit expression for a star product on the super-Minkowski space written in the supertwistor formalism. The big cell of the super-Grassmannian Gr(2|0,4|1) is identified with the chiral, super-Minkowski space. The super-Grassmannian is a homogeneous space under the action of the complexification SL(4|1) of SU(2,2|1), the superconformal group in dimension 4, signature (1,3), and supersymmetry N=1. The quantization is done by substituting the groups and homogeneous spaces by their quantum deformed counterparts. The calculations are done in Manin’s formalism. When we restrict to the big cell, we can explicitly compute an expression for the super-star product in the Minkowski superspace associated to this deformation and the choice of a certain basis of monomials.

Quaternionic structures, supertwistors and fundamental superspaces

Superspace is considered as space of parameters of the supercoherent states defining the basis for oscillator-like unitary irreducible representations of the generalized superconformal group SU (2m, 2n | 2N) in the field of quaternions H. The specific construction contains naturally the supertwistor one of the previous work by Litov and Pervushin [1] and it is shown that in the case of extended supersymmetry such an approach leads to the separation of a class of superspaces and its groups of motion. We briefly discuss this particular extension to the domain of quaternionic superspaces as nonlinear realization of some kind of the affine and the superconformal groups with the final end to include also the gravitational field [6] (this last possibility to include gravitation, can be realized on the basis of Ref. 12 where the coset Sp(8) SL(4R) ∼ SU(2,2) SL(2C) was used in the non supersymmetric case). It is shown that this quaternionic construction avoid some unconsistencies appearing at the level of the generators of the superalgebras (for specific values of p and q; p + q = N) in the twistor one.

We present a large class of supersymmetric classical r-matrices, describing the supertwist deformations of Poincaré and Euclidean superalgebras. We consider in detail new family of four supertwists of N = 1 Poincaré superalgebra and provide as well their Euclidean counterpart. The proposed supertwists are better adjusted to the description of deformed D = 4 Euclidean supersymmetries with independent left-chiral and right-chiral supercharges. They lead to new quantum superspaces, obtained by the superextension of twist deformations of spacetime providing Lie-algebraic noncommutativity of space-time coordinates. In the Hopf-algebraic Euclidean SUSY framework the considered supertwist deformations provide an alternative to the N = 1 2 SUSY Seiberg's star product deformation scheme.
Super Star Products and Quantum Superalgebras
Acta Physica Polonica B, 2000
We prove that the super star product on a Poisson Lie supergroup leads to the structure of quantum superalgebra (triangular Hopf superalgebra) on the super quantized enveloping algebra of the Lie superalgebra of the Lie supergroup and that equivalents super star products generate isomorphic quantum superalgebras.
SUPERSYMMETRIC LORENTZ INVARIANT DEFORMATIONS OF SUPERSPACES
Modern Physics Letters A, 2006
Lorentz invariant supersymmetric deformations of superspaces based on Moyal star product parametrized by Majorana spinor λ a and Ramond grassmannian vector ψ m = − 1 2 (θγ m λ) in the spinor realization [35] are proposed. The map of supergravity background into composite supercoordinates: (B −1 mn , Ψ a m , C ab ) ↔ (iψ m ψ n , ψ m λ a , λ a λ b ) valid up to the second order corrections in deformation parameter h and transforming the background dependent Lorentz noninvariant (anti)commutators of supercoordinates into their invariant Moyal brackets is revealed. We found one of the deformations to depend on the axial vector ψ 1m = 1 2 (θγ m γ 5 λ) and to vanish for the θ components with the same chiralities. The deformations in the (super)twistor picture are discussed.
A Clifford algebra realization of Supersymmetry and its Polyvector extension in Clifford Spaces
It is shown explicitly how to construct a novel (to our knowledge) realization of the Poincare superalgebra in 2D. These results can be extended to other dimensions and to (extended) superconformal and (anti) de Sitter superalgebras. There is a fundamental difference between the findings of this work with the other approaches to Supersymmetry (over the past four decades) using Grassmannian calculus and which is based on anti-commuting numbers. We provide an algebraic realization of the anticommutators and commutators of the 2D super-Poincare algebra in terms of the generators of the tensor product Cl1,1(R) ⊗ A of a two-dim Clifford algebra and an internal algebra A whose generators can be represented in terms of powers of a 3 × 3 matrix Q, such that Q 3 = 0. Our realization dif f ers from the standard realization of superalgebras in terms of dif f erential operators in Superspace involving Grassmannian (anticommuting) coordinates θ α and bosonic coordinates x µ . We conclude in the final section with an analysis of how to construct Polyvector-valued extensions of supersymmetry in Clifford Spaces involving spinor-tensorial supercharge generators Q µ 1 µ 2 .....µn α and momentum polyvectors Pµ 1 µ 2 ....µn . Clifford-Superspace is an extension of Clifford-space and whose symmetry transformations are generalized polyvector-valued supersymmetries.
N= 1/2 Deformations of Chiral Superspaces from New Twisted Poincare and Euclidean Superalgebras
2011
We consider new quantum superspaces, obtained from the superextension of twist deformations of Minkowski spacetime providing Lie-algebraic noncommutativity of spacetime coordinates. The deformed superalgebraic relations describing new quantum superspaces are covariant under the twist-deformed Poincaré supersymmetries. New four classes of supertwist deformations of N = 1 Poincaré superalgebra are investigated and further their Euclidean counterpart presented. Because the proposed supertwists are in odd sector not unitary they are better adjusted to the description of deformed D = 4 Euclidean supersymmetries with independent left-chiral and right-chiral supercharges. Our supertwist deformations in the framework of Hopf-algebraic quantum deformations provide an alternative to the N = 1 2 SUSY Seiberg's star product deformation scheme.

We give a quantum deformation of the chiral Minkowski superspace in 4 dimensions embedded as the big cell into the chiral conformal superspace. Both deformations are realized as quantum homogeneous superspaces: we deform the ring of regular functions together with a coaction of the corresponding quantum supergroup.

Consistent generalized commutation relations between the (with each-other commuting) space-time parameters and some further para-Grassmann parameters have been recently obtained. We develop the superspace formalism involving para-Grassmann parameters associated with an (I, q)-graded Lie algebraic extension over I C of the Poincar e algebra. We construct representations of group elements and obtain representations of the algebra generators as derivative operators with respect to the (I, q)-graded superspace parameters. We determine the covariant derivatives, the symmetry generators and the transformation properties of superelds in several equivalent representations. We initiate the study of the eld content of supereld representations, covariant constraints and invariant models. The equation of motion for a spin-1 2 para-fermionic eld is obtained. Severe limitations on the construction of physically meaningful models are related to the usage of non-fundamental spin-1 2 representations for the symmetry charges.
General superspaces from supertwistors
Physics Letters B, 1988
N) bosonic and 4Nfermionic coordinates are obtained from supersymmetric extension of twistor formalism. The description of real superspaces, with real Minkowski coordinates, is also considered. The case N=2, k= I, corresponding to N=2 harmonic superspace of Ogievetski and Sokchaczev, is discussed in some detail.
