Abstract
Green innovation requires every enterprise, big-scale as well as the medium and small one, to act on developmental initiatives through innovation. This very idea urges business executors to conduct innovation, mainly for the medium scale, to be able to compete with the big one. In dealing with obstacles, the owner of Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) must be able to innovate in order to elevate competitiveness. The innovation process being done, evidently cannot be separated from human resource within the organization. The innovation process within an organization will require new knowledge, therefore knowledge sharing between individuals inside the organization and between involving stakeholders will be needed. Knowledge sharing is vital as one of the main components in open innovation process.
