Business Prospects of Rebon Shrimp Processing at Household Scale in Desa Muara

The results showed that the processing business of dried rebon shrimp in Muara Kintap was profitable to do because the total revenue was greater than the total cost, and based on the analysis of the eligibility on the season of NPV, Net BCR, and IRR were on top of the value of 13%, making it eligible to do business processing, and there was also a price fluctuation with an average selling price fluctuation of rebon shrimp in Desa Muara Kintap between 'season' and 'not season' the prices was 41.05%, and the variation of the fishing season prices ranged from Rp 19,000 to Rp 20,000, while during 'not season' the prices were between Rp 26,000 and Rp 30,000. This happened because of the difference in total costs incurred by the fishermen and rebon shrimp processors and the difference in rebon shrimp production volume, and there were two marketing channels of rebon shrimps in Desa Muara Kintap.

Penerapan Blue Economy pada Industri Budidaya Udang dengan Pemanfaat Limbah Kepala dan Kulit Udang untuk Produksi Kitosan (Application of the Blue Economy to Shrimp Aquaculture Industry by Utilization of Head and Shell of Shrimp Waste for Chitosan Production)

Application of blue economy to shrimp aquaculture industry may result in both increasing economic revenue and reducing environmental destruction. The study objective was to calculate revenue from chitosan production derived from head and shell of shrimp waste to pay CO2 emission (carbon footprint) produced by shrimp aquaculture industry. Primary data of shrimp aquaculture industry were gathered from shrimp aquaculture production of Dompu Regency, Province of South West Sunda Lesser (Nusa Tenggara Barat) of one period of cultivation database in 2005 that produced 142,193.53 kg. It was calculated about 68,835.40 kg of head and shell waste were produced that can be converted to 3,166.43 kg chitosan. In one period of cultivation, selling of chitosan brought about profit of Rp 119.849.300,15 with cost of carbon emission of Rp 85,919,585.23. There was remaining profit of Rp 33.979.714,92. In conclusion, utilization of head and shell of shrimp waste to produce chitosan can pay the cost of CO2 emission derived from shrimp aquaculture industry itself to conserve the environment of shrimp pond and to gain more profit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghitung pendapatan yang diperoleh dari limbah industri budidaya udang berupa produksi kitosan dari kulit dan kepala udang untuk membayar harga emisi CO2 (carbon footprint) yang diakibatkan oleh industri budidaya udang. Data utama industri budidaya udang diperoleh dari data industri budidaya udang Kabupaten Dompu NTB pada satu musim tanam 2005 yang menghasilkan produksi udang sebanyak 142.193,53 kg. Perkiraan produksi limbah kulit dan kepala udang sebanyak 68.835,40 kg dengan kitosan yang dihasilkan sebanyak 3.166,43 kg. Dalam satu musim tanam, diperkirakan keuntungan penjualan kitosan sebanyak Rp 119.849.300,15 dan biaya emisi karbon sebanyak Rp 85.919.585,23. Jadi masih tersisa keuntungan sebanyak Rp 33.979.714,92.. Dengan demikian pemanfaatan limbah kepala dan kulit udang untuk produksi kitosan dapat membayar emisi CO2 yang diakibatkan oleh kegiatan industri udang itu sendiri untuk melestarikan lingkungan tambak serta mendapatkan tambahan laba. Business Analysis Of Salted Fish Processing In Pondok Batu Villages Sarudik Subdistrict Sibolga District North Sumatra Province

The research was conducted on July, 2016 in Pondok Batu Villages, Sarudik Subdistrict, Sibolga District, North Sumatra Province. This study was aimed to analyzed the input, process, output in analysis of salted fish processing, determine the investment and profits as well as analyzing the prospects and constraints of salted fish processing business. The research method used was a survey by takeing an activity/case study and determine the respondents using census method.Based on this research, salted fish processing business activities in the form of inputs have sufficient availability, process and output runs regularly so as to produce output in the form of processed products salted fish ready for market. The total investment every month is Rp 76.952 million,- and profits every month is Rp 9.895.083. According to different eligibility criteria, this effort deserves to be continued and developed.

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui faktor internal dan faktor eksternal yang berpengaruh terhadap pengembangan usaha pengolahan hasil perikanan di Kota Palangka Raya, mengetahui alternatif strategi pengembangan usaha pengolahan hasil perikanan di Kota Palangka Raya dengan menggunakan analisis SWOT. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis nilai keekonomian atau kelayakan finansial usaha rumput laut. Peneliti merasa perlu untuk meneliti bidang ini karena perkembangan budi daya rumput laut semakin hari semakin meningkat seiring dengan permintaan produk-produk berbahan dasar rumput laut yang semakin besar. Data penelitian ini dikumpulkan pada pembudidaya dan pihak-pihak terkait dengan melakukan survei terstruktur. One of the fisheries and marine potentials in Cilacap Regency is tuna fisheries. Catch tuna that landed at the Cilacap Ocean Fishery Port (PPSC) is high. Based on the analysis of the needs of actors in the tuna fisheries system in Cilacap, one of the components included in the system is the tuna fish processing industry. This is because there is only one tuna fishing company in Cilacap in 2009.
