Isolation and Immunophenotypic Characterization of Bone Marrow Derived Stem Cells (original) (raw)
Human bone marrow derived Mesenchymal stem cells (HBM-MSCs)non-haematopoietic, that can differentiate into a number of cells types namely adipocytes, osteocytes, chondrocytes, cardiomyocytes, myocytes etc., and represent a promising cell-based therapy for a number of degenerative conditions. In the present study, the bone marrow aspirate was taken and the MSCs were isolated using ficoilhypaque protocols. The presence of surface markers (CD34+, CD45+, HLA-DR+, CD73+, CD44+, CD13+, CD90+, CD105+) was analyzed by immunocytochemistry.
