Abstract

Knowledge about cultural heritage is important for the formation of a tourism degree since it contributes to the assessment and management of the elements that comprise it. Since cultural heritage is a key element for tourism development strategies, mainly from sustainable perspective. The use of cultural heritage must be given within a framework of appreciation and respect for what it means for their delivery, as this is one of the fundamental bonds of identity and belonging of peoples. Therefore it is essential to encourage tourism graduates sensitivity and respect for these demonstrations; since they have tools to safeguard activities and tourism development is an element that can enhance their professional performance. This document presents the experience developed in the training of graduates in tourism UAN around cultural heritage, its preservation and sustainable use.
