Determinants of Tourist Satisfaction and Dissatisfaction on Tourism Village

Indonesia government established the development of tourism village as one of priority program. Until 2018, there are 1734 tourism villages in Indonesia. However, the increase of tourist visitation is not occurred evenly. Only several tourism villages are having high visitation rate, others are still struggling in competing with other tourism destinations. Previous study found that tourist satisfaction is leading on visit intention. Therefore, this study investigated factors determinant on tourist satisfaction and dissatisfaction of tourism village. A content analysis was adopted in this study by extracting of 464 tourist reviews that posted from January 2016 until October 2019. This study aimed to determine the level of tourist satisfaction and the performance of attractions, accessibilities, and amenities (3As) in Pulesari Tourism Village (PTV). This study uses both qualitative and quantitative (mixed method). The population in this study was tourists who visited PTV during the period of August to September 2018. A hundred samples were collected using Purposive Sampling method. Data were collected by distributing questionnaires, in-depth interviews, field observations, and documentation. Gradual quantitative-qualitative data analysis is used as a technique to analyse the data. Analysis Tourist Satisfaction on Bukit Kubu, Berastagi North Sumatera, Indonesia

This study aims to test and find out whether experience significantly influences tourist satisfaction through destination image on the Bukit Kubu attraction. The sampling technique in this study is accidental sampling. The sample used was people who were visiting the Bukit Kubu tourist attraction. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires with a Likert scale system distributed to 91 respondents. The data obtained were then tested using a validity test technique and a reliability test using SPSS program assistance. After that proceed with data analysis with the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) approach using the Partial Least Square (PLS) method with the help of Smart PLS 3 software. The results of the study show that the experience variable has a significant effect on destination image and tourist satisfaction variables.

CHALLENGES FOR TOURISM INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT IN WEST- SUMATRA PROVINCE OF INDONESIA

The synergy between central and local governments, between the governments and the business community, or among adjacent regions are crucial to increasing the potential for regionally based tourism development. One of the primary keys for developing decent tourism industry is fulfilling the convenience of visitors (tourists), which may be achieved with friendly culture and societies, and reliable infrastructures between tourist destinations. West Sumatra Province has been known for rich cultures and beautiful landscapes. However, those does not help to attract tourists and the province has not yet become one of main tourist destination in Indonesia. Furthermore, there is a decline in tourists arrival in West-Sumatra, by 13.2% in 2015. It indicates that there are obstacles and challenges in the tourism industry in West Sumatra Province. To support the industry, this study has an aim to determine the capacity of infrastructures for tourism in West Sumatra. Several discussions with local governments officials had been conducted in this research, together with distributions of questionnaire survey and focus group discussion. The study portrayed the current condition of the infrastructures that may be served as a benchmark for future tourism development in the province. This study shows that many areas on infrastructure that are in need to be improved, so that tourism industry become lead sector in West Sumatra province.

Perception of Tourism Satisfaction: A Study at Blimbingsari Tourism Village in Bali

Blimbingsari tourism village has decreased in the number of tourist visits, even though the potential of tourist attractions offered is increasingly diverse. This situation is a major concern for managers in an effort to increase visiting tourists. The purpose of this study was to analyze the service quality attributes considered important by tourists as well as the perceived performance they felt when visiting. The questionnaires collected amounted to 99 questionnaires and IPA analysis is used in order to identify service quality attributes. Result showed that there is a gap between the level of importance and performance of service quality attributes. Identifying Factors Affecting Domestic Tourist Satisfaction of Tourist Destinations in Indonesia

The objective of this study was to identify the factors affecting domestic tourist satisfaction of tourist destinations. The type of this study was a quantitative descriptive study using Cochran Q test and factor analysis of tourist satisfaction drivers factors. The result of this study showed that there were 38 attributes affecting domestic tourist satisfaction in Indonesia. The first rank was the beauty of natural attractions; the second rank was artificial tourism attractions; and, the third rank was the cost and cleanliness of facilities and environment of tourism destinations. Furthermore, all these attributes were clustered into several factors: attraction, amenities, accessibility, hospitality, and ancillary. Studies on destination attributes mainly focused on the motivation or experience of tourists and their relation to these attributes. Therefore, in-depth reports are required to fully understand tourism villages as destinations, particularly in relation to the factors that contribute to their success. This study aimed to (1) identify tourism products in tourism villages, (2) identify the determinants of tourism destination attributes, and (3) recommend efforts to improve the management of destination attributes in developing as tourism villages. Measuring Tourist Satisfaction by Accessibility: The Case of Taman Wisata Alam Gunung Pancar Destination

The tourism sector is a leading sector in several developed countries. This is because people's need for travel has become a primary need. However, the COVID-19 pandemic that occurred in early 2020 had a major impact on the global economy. This has an impact on the number of tourist visits globally, which has decreased by 73% in 2020. The pattern of tourist travel after the COVID-19 pandemic has also changed where travel is more directed towards alternative tourism such as nature tourism. The development of tourist destinations can be done in terms of attractions, amenities, and accessibility. However, accessibility is often forgotten in the development of a destination, even though accessibility is one of the factors of tourist satisfaction. Accessibility to tourist destinations Gunung Pancar natural tourism park is still constrained by the distance and time that must be traveled from the city of Bogor. In addition, road directions to tourist destinations are still limited. Based on the above background, the purpose of this study is to measure tourist satisfaction through accessibility to tourist destinations of Mount Pancar Natural Tourism Park in Bogor Regency. The research method used is a quantitative approach with a simple regression analysis tool. Respondents used in this study were tourists who had visited the Mount Pancar natural tourism park. The results show that accessibility can be used to measure tourist satisfaction because it is proven that accessibility has a positive and significant effect on tourist satisfaction. Future research that can be done is to analyze aspects of the development of tourist destinations which consist of attractions, amenities, and accessibility, which aspects have the most influence on tourist satisfaction in Gunung Pancar Natural Tourism Park, so that managers can focus on aspects that are still not good based on tourist perspective.
