The Powder Coatings technology is a well established process consisting in the application of a powdered fusible material to a substrate, heating the powder, melting and flowing it, producing a chemical reaction, and finally cooling to form a solid coating. During the melting and reflowing process, reaction occurs and the material increases abruptly its viscosity over the substrate. That process should deal with a compromise between melting, flowing and curing as all proceed at the same time. In this paper we will explain some of the basics strategies and procedures to get some specials effects like matt systems and textured surfaces using our last developments in the field.
