This report contains a business plan for a specialized transport plan for elderly people called Taxi-Care. This project aims to give more autonomy to the elderly people in Colombia offering a comfortable and safe transportation that gives confidence not only to them but also their families. By this system the elderly can be transported and do what they need to do more independently. The main competitive advantage is the combination of transportation and the specialized assistance. The idea was born from the observation of population trends in this country and the world, including: the reduction in the number of children per family; the increase in the life span and the projected population growth of old people. The project was based on the observation of an unmet need in modern society and from this sprang a research process that included a series of primary and secondary investigations, the creating of a business model, a technical operational study, an investigation into the legal aspects and the study of the financial projections. Finally conclusions were drawn and recommendations made. During the development of the business plan, specifically in the valuation of the company, positive results were found, in both the moderate and optimistic scenarios, since it was shown that the payback period of the investment is in the fourth and in the third year respectively. These results showed that financially the project is a unique business opportunity and it is also a project of great interest and social impact.
