Abstract

Heritage tourism industry is one of the industries that can preserve the culture of society. Monsopiad Heritage Village is one of the cultural villages responsible for preserving historical heritage of Kadazadusun. Initially, MHV is only known as cultural tourism. But now MHV was seen as a heritage tourism site that capable of providing entertaining and enjoyable experience while providing knowledge. The quality of services in a tourism industry is a factor that contributes to tourist arrival and demand. Therefore, this research was conducted to analyze visitor's satisfaction on the quality of services provided and also to identify visitor motivation and their perception towards MHV. The method of data collection used was though questionnaire distribution. Respondents consist of visitors who visit to MHV with a sample of 384 respondents. The results show that majority of the respondents who have visited MHV were among the private worker and highly educated. The percentage of respondents who are satisfied with the quality of the service provided showed positive result.
