The paper presents a case study on the development of a 1U CubeSat as a pedagogical tool to enhance project-based learning in Paraguay. It highlights the lack of adequately equipped engineering laboratories in the region and positions the CubeSat project as a solution for practical engagement in space science and engineering education. The initiative aims to foster the necessary skills among students, providing hands-on experience in the fields of electronics, mechatronics, and data processing, thereby contributing to academia and the emerging aerospace sector in Paraguay.
