Penelitian ini mencakup suatu rangkaian kegiatan studi lapang, analisis sosio-ekonomis dan pemodelan, dilaksanakan pada tahun 2002, dengan tujuan untuk merancang suatu model pengembangan industri perikanan. Contoh kasus 5 kabupaten di Propinsi Jawa Tengah (Rembang, Pati, Blora, Jepara dan Kudus) diacu untuk membangun model tersebut di lokasi penelitian, yang secara induktif dapat dikembangkan menjadi model umum yang berlaku di wilayah lain.

Financial Inclusion and Inclusive Growth: A Cross-Province Analysis in Indonesia

This paper computes and analyzes the degree of financial inclusion and the inclusive growth in Indonesia. Using provincial data, we calculate the Index of Financial Inclusion (IFI) based on the accessibility, the availability, and the usage of the financial services. On the other hand, the Index of Inclusive Growth (IIG) is developed through the method of social opportunity function by increasing the average level and equity index of opportunities. The result shows that the financial inclusion in Indonesia is largely determined by the accessibility, while the availability and the usage play only small portion. This leads to a conclusion that the group of the poor is limited on using the financial services. Furthermore, we use social opportunity function to measure the inclusive growth, and find a positive correlation with the financial inclusion. Sidoarjo is one of the districts in the the province of East Java, which every year is always hit by floods. The survey shows that the villagers Gempolsari Sidoarjo has a fairly high level of resilience. Resilience is important for victims to be able to live again as before experiencing disaster. Resilience is influenced by several factors, including protective factors. The purpose this experiment is to study the relationship between protective factors with the resilience of communities against floods in the village Gempolsari Sidoarjo. The design study is quantitative descriptive correlation with cross sectional approach. The population in this study is the villagers of the District Gempolsari waas totaling 1038 people. Local Curriculum (Muatan Lokal) as a specific course taught in elementary and early secondary schools, was added to curriculum policy in 1994 as part of abroader policy of "Unity Among Many." There to fore, policy was adamantly focused upon unifying the many and diverse ethnic group identities into one, national Indonesian identity. As has been shown in precedent research, the policy's distinctive character lie in the discretionary power given to local administrations to create curriculum appropriate to its cultural needs. The effort was expected to contribute to foster growth of consciousness and attitudes for both the conservation of traditional ethnic culture as well as its development, and to produce people who passessed a love of community and were committed to its development.
