Fazer família e cidade na habitação da rua : Brasília em suas múltiplas habitabilidades (original) (raw)

This research is an ethnography about social and affective ties, housing and mobility among street dwellers of Asa Sul and central region of Brasilia. In order to understand the processes of maintenance and/or rupture of their family relations of consanguinity, as well as the construction and expansion of the affective ties from the use of the street as a space for habitation, the investigation was based on their narratives and pathways in different moments of the city, in the circulation by spaces and institutions, in the forms of work, collective meals in the open and leisure. From social interactions in the spaces, formation of groups and territories, we sought to map the mobility and to draw up considerations about family, body, work, freedom and city. In this sense, the notion of street as a space for housing, through the creative forms of improvised housing, the conflicts of these relations in the urban landscape, but also as a particular way of living and making the city is problematized. The research is part of a broader discussion about the experiences of particular groups in urban centers, residents, inhabitants or the street population. All the investigation was perpassada by the attempt of understanding the dynamics of social relations in the street, taking into consideration the body, spaces, objects and the conflicts.
