This study examines the use of collections and services at IIIT Nuzivid Library. A well structured 800 questionnaires were distributed among users during the academic session 2017, to find out the user of information resources is being provided by IIIT, Nuzivid library. The present study demonstrates and elaborates the various aspects of use of resources and services, purpose of visit to the library; adequacy of library hours, use and collections of documents that is, internet information resources. The paper also identifies the levels of use of various services provided, access of online databases services, and users' awareness about different types of library services. Features issues looked by the respondents at different parameters of the library. Recommendations have been given to make the assets and administrations more advantageous for the future scholastic group.

The present study explores the use and awareness of information resources and library services among students and research scholars of Babasaheb Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Central Library, Bangalore University. A survey method was employed using a structured questionnaire, which was distributed to library users, resulting in 215 filled questionnaires and a response rate of 100%. The majority of users visit the library daily and express interest in accessing newspapers, magazines, textbooks, journals, theses, dissertations, newspaper clippings, and e-resources available in the Bangalore University Library's collection. However, the study reveals that users are primarily aware of and utilize textbooks, theses, and dissertations. The library sees significant traffic from users borrowing textbooks.

This paper is an attempt to understand and evaluate the use library facility and resources among research scholar in GGU, further examines in detail access and awareness, the predominant use of information resources and identify the barriers in use of library facilities and resources by research scholars. Survey method was follow to collect data. A total of 140 structured questionnaires were distributed to users and out of which 116 questionnaires were duly obtained with a response rate of 82.85%. A stratified accidental random sample method was used for selection of respondents. In this paper we found that majority of respondents 31.03% visit the library daily and 29.31% respondents visit the library once in a week, 65.52% e-journals are frequently used by research scholar and also 67.24 % of the research scholar expressed that the library has updated books are not available. It seems that library should subscribe a number of e-resources, such as e-journals, online databases, and print journals to fulfill the demand of the research scholars in their area of interest.
Use of Information Sources and Services in University Libraries by Sadu Ranganadham
An effort is made in this book to present the information on the use of library resources and services by the university students, their satisfaction with regard to various sources, services, and facilities provided by university libraries namely Andhra University Library, Vishakapatnam, Sri Venkateswara University Library, Tirupati and Osmania University Library, Hyderabad.

The purpose of the study was to investigate research scholars (RS) and faculty members (FM) involvement in use of library, library resources, purpose behind using them and satisfaction from the resources in five university libraries of Northern India. The representative samples were selected based on sample size given by Krejcie and Morgan (1970). The representative sample was formed by taking 15% of respondents from each category from each university. The 'Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling Technique' was used. The data collected was analyzed with the help of statistical software package called SPSS and hypotheses were tested using Chi-Square test. The study was limited to five universities libraries of Northern India. No significant relationship was found in frequency of visit to the library between the research scholars (RS) and faculty members (RM) across the libraries. The purpose of this study is to investigate the awareness and use of library resources and services among the research scholars and post graduate students. The objectives of the study are to know the awareness about library resources and services and to investigate the use of library resources, facilities and services. The study also highlights the various types of library resources and services used by the respondents. The study describes that the university library is providing both types of printed and electronic resources to the users. Moreover the study shows the various information searching techniques used by the respondents. The findings of the study show that majority of the respondents have adequate knowledge to use the library resources and services and large number of respondents accesses the electronic resources and services from the university library. Various types of problems and suggestions have been given by the users.

This study deals with utilizing available information resources and services among users of Atal Bihari Vajpayee Central Library of Mahatma Gandhi Central University (MGCU), Motihari, Bihar, with special reference to Information Communication Technology (ICT) applications. The study's major objectives are to know the users' frequency of library visits, the purpose of their library visit, identify users' satisfaction levels regarding library resources and services, find out the major problems encountered by the users, and know the users' suggestions etc. The study was conducted through a questionnaire-based survey method. The primary data was collected through a structured questionnaire which was circulated randomly among 120 library users. The data has been analyzed using standard statistical techniques based on filled-up questionnaires. The study reveals that the majority of users visit the library almost daily and spend at least one hour in the library. The maximum percentage of users visit the library for the purpose of issuing & returning the books. Most of the users are familiar with the information resources and services of the library. But, a lot of users are not satisfied with available information resources and ICT-based services at the library. This study is unique and new because very few studies have been conducted on this newly established Central Library of MGCU. Thus, it is an effort to fill the gap and study the utilization of information resources and services from users' perspectives. This study will be also helpful for other academic libraries to provide better ICT-based services to their users and fulfil their information resources and services need.
Use of Library Resources and Services by Karnatak University Research Scholars: A case Study

Major aim of any university library is to support teaching, learning and research activities of its parent institutions, university library must therefore make sure that their resources are fine use of by its users. The study has been conducted to know the available information sources in the Karnataka university library and its usage pattern among the research scholars in different faculties in several Departments of the University. The study shows that how the usage of the information resources changing from print to e-resources and more users are eager to use electronic resources. For this study hypothesis was set and various statistical methods like chi-square test, etc., were used.
Information Resources and Services of National Science Library India, New Delhi: A User Study
The study examines the use of services by the users of National Science Library (NSL), New Delhi, India. A well structured questionnaire was used to identify the impressions of NSL users towards the various aspects. 120 questionnaires were distributed among the NSL users and 108 filed were received back. The questionnaires were checked and 108 (90%) questionnaires were found fit for analysis and out of which 12(10%) were considered unusable. The present study demonstrates and elaborates a various aspects of NSL collections uses within the available resources, frequency and purposes of visit, user satisfaction within NSL services and information about documents. Further attempt has also been made to highlights the findings of the study and a few suggestions have been given based on the analysis of data.
The information plays vital role in this digital environment. This has become possible because of the technological advancements and changing information needs of the users. Technology has dominated all spheres of human activity and the libraries are not an exception one. The new storage media have appeared after the invention of storage devices like microforms, magnetic tapes, compact discs etc have found their places in modern libraries and are playing vital role in storage and dissemination of information. This study is indented to know the awareness of the students and use of library information resources and services in Osmania University. The study is compiled with data from questionnaire. The Final results revealed that the adequacy of library resources, opinion on e-resources vs. print sources, reasons for using e-resources, satisfaction on sources of information provisions. In this study, recommendations are made to the collection of Theses / Dissertation should be improved and availed for consultation of students and also awareness should be created on the use of e-resources availability in the University Libraries.
