Penyakit hipertensi sering tanpa keluhan khas, hipertensi dengan komplikasi adalah salah satu penyebab utama kematian berbagai buah-buahan juga bisa menjadi alternatif untuk menurunkan tekanan darah seperti semangka, apel. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan efektivitas jus semangka dan jus apel manalagi terhadap tekanan darah pada menopause penderita hipertensi di Puskesmas pembantu Badar Kidul Kota Kediri 2019. Metode penelitian ini adalah Quasi Eksperimen dengan rancangan Non Equivalent Control Group Design. Penelitian ini menggunakan instrument lembar lembar observasi dengan tensimeter, dengan purposive sampling diperoleh sampel 32 responden. Uji statistic Wilcoxon dan MannWithney. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebelum semangka (81,2%), kriteria darah hipertensi adalah 13 responden, setelah diberi semangka (75%), hipertensi kriteria normal (tinggi) adalah 12 responden. Background : Hypertension is a chronic condition characterized by increased blood pressure on the walls of the arteries. Hypertension can lead to several complications, such as coronary heart disease, right ventricular hypertrophy, and cerebrovascular problems such as stroke. Management of hypertension in general is with pharmacology, besides that it can also be done with nonpharmacological therapy. The purpose of this study was to compare the effectiveness of the administration of red watermelon juice and tomato juice on blood pressure. Methods: This study uses a Quasy Experimental design with a Pre-Post Non Equivalent Control Group Design approach. The population is all residents of Harapan Kita Social Home for the Elderly in Palembang. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. The sample size was 20 respondents who met the inclusion criteria, each 10 respondents in the red watermelon juice treatment group and 10 respondents in the tomato juice treatment group. Results : There was a significant decrease in systolic blood pressure in the red watermelon juice group, and a significant decrease in diastolic blood pressure in the tomato juice group. Conclusion : Tomato juice and watermelon juice can significantly lower blood pressure in hypertension patients. Research suggestion: Given the importance of early detection of hypertension, the Panti manager should be able to measure blood pressure regularly and provide education on complications of hypertension and include watermelon and tomatoes in the diet or menu in daily food.

Hipertensi adalah penyakit degeneratif yang semakin sering dijumpai dimasyarakat. Hypertension generally occurs without symptoms (asymptomatic), most people do not feel anything, even though their blood pressure is far above normal. Hypertension or can be called high blood pressure is a condition where a person experiences an increase in abnormal blood pressure. Objective: to determine the effect of giving red watermelon juice and yellow watermelon juice to a decrease in blood pressure. Method: This study used a quasi-experimental design of two groups pre-test post-test without control group. The analysis test used is Shapiro Wilk. The selection of research subjects using the purpose sampling method. Data analysis was performed by paired sample T-Test. Results: The results of the study the administration of red watermelon juice and yellow watermelon juice (p = 0,000 <0.05). Giving watermelon red juice is effective in reducing average systolic blood pressure (pretest) 154.00 mm / Hg to systolic (posttest) 146.00 mm / Hg, diastolic (posttest) 94.00 mm / Hg as well as giving watermelon juice effectively reducing average blood pressure systolic (pretest) 168.00 mm / Hg, diastoic (pretest) 117.00 mm / Hg as well as systolic average (posttest) 152.00 mm / Hg and (posttest) 91.00 mm / Hg. Conclusion: Giving watermelon red and yellow watermelon juice with hypertension is effective for lowering blood pressure.
Pengaruh Susu Kedelai dan Bubur Kacang Hijau terhadap Lingkar Pinggang Wanita Pascamenopause

Wanita pascamenopause rentan menderita obesitas. Susu kedelai dan bubur kacang hijau mengandung serat dan flavonoid yang bermanfaat sebagai antiobesitas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh susu kedelai dan bubur kacang hijau terhadap lingkar pinggang pada wanita pascamenopause. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan desain pre-posttest dengan kelompok kontrol. Penelitian dilakukan selama 4 minggu dari Desember 2018 - Januari 2019 di Serengan, Surakarta. Subjek dibagi secara acak menjadi kelompok kontrol (n=10), susu kedelai (n=10) dan kombinasi susu kedelai dan bubur kacang hijau (n=10). Dosis susu kedelai dan bubur kacang hijau yang disediakan masing-masing adalah 240 ml dan 180 ml/hari/orang dan diberikan selama 4 minggu penuh. Tomato is one of diets that is rich of nutrition. Moreover, tomato has an important role to keep body balance, tomato also can be used to cure hypertension. Tomato contains potassium, calcium, and other nutrition that can decrease blood pressure of menopause women. This study is aimed at knowing the influence of tomato juice towards blood pressure change of menopause women. The sample used in this study is 16 respondents. The design of the study is pre experimental with one group pre-test and post-test approach. The data analysis used in this study is Wilcoxon test. The result of the study shows that there is an influence of tomato juice towards the decreasing of systolic blood pressure of menopause women in campurejo-mojoroto-kediri. Background : Treatment of hypertension in the long term can affect adherence and cause toxic effects, therefore it takes alternative treatment by utilizing nutrients in food, one of which is the antioxidant like as lycopene and flavonoid in tomato-lime juice. Objective : The aim of this study was to analyze the effect of tomato juicewith extra lime on blood pressure in women adults. Methods : This study was clinical nutrition research with True Experiment randomized repeated measure control group design. The subject were 39 women adult 40-60 years, 19 control groups and 20 in treatment. Intervention was performed for 21 days with the measurement of systolic and diastolic blood pressure every 1 week 1 time. Background : Hypertension is a long term condition in which blood pressure is higher than 140/90 mmHg. Antihypertensive drugs therapy took a long time and caused side effects so that further treatment is needed through non-pharmalogycal therapy such as the consumption of smoothies combination of various fruits and vegetables that contain high fiber and potassium. Objective : To determine the effectiveness of smoothies combination of various fruits and vegetables consumtion to changes in blood pressure change in adult women. Method : This research is a true experiment with Randomized Pre and Post Test Control Group Design. Sampling was done randomly to get 30 samples. Data collection were included by age, nutritional status, occupation, blood pressure data before and after treatment and fiber, sodium, potassium, calcium and magnesium intakes. Results : There was an effect of smoothies combination of various fruits and vegetables consumtion to decrease cytolic and diastolic blood pressure during the study with confounding variables of fiber, sodium, potassium and magnesium intake (p = 0.025 and p = 0.037). Conclusion : The average systolic and diastolic blood pressure in the treatment group were decreased after consumtion smoothies combination of various fruits and vegetables, while the control group tended to increased because they were not consume smoothies.

Background: Hypertension is the third leading cause of death in Indonesia reached 6.7% of the population mortality at all ages. The blood pressure of postmenopausal women tends to increase due to decreased of the protective effect of estrogens and increased of salt sensitivity.
