The Significance of Islamic Education in Building the Perfection of Moral

The purpose of. The research is a qualitative approach to literatures. The focus of research is the significance of Islamic education in building the moral perfection. Sources of primary data in this study in the form of words or theories that exist in the various references of data in forms of literature gathered through document review literature, including data relating to books on Islamic education derived from research, from internet articles, papers, and types of scientific work weightier, both foreign language and Indonesian language that is relevant to this study. Methods of processing and analysis of data required in the study of literature, is based on qualitative research methods with some data analysis techniques. The research results showed that Islamic education become the "grand design" of the most important in the sculpturing a noble character that is based on Islamic values in the frame of the Koran, Hadith and ijtihad. Prophet Rasulullah saw. as the "principal teacher" in Islam, the birth and his mission to become agents in the morals revolution from the ignorance morale toward the Islamic morality. Islamic education model where its purposes to enhance noble character, should emulate the model of education carried out by the Prophet, whom can change the Makkah Madinah filled with ignorance into civilized town.

The purpose of this study is to interpret the consequential role of Islamic education in shaping students’ noble character. Islam, which was supposed to be the basis for the mindset and attitude pattern in a Muslim-majority country, is no longer a solid reference. Indeed, the religion in the sight of Allah is Islam 3:19). Allah sent down all his Messengers in this worldly life to build up human life based on Islamic Ideology. From Adam to Muhammad (saw) Allah gave them revealed knowledge. Revealed knowledge was their main foundation of teaching. Man is the best creation of Allah because of knowledge. Allah declared in the holy Quran, and He taught Adam the names of all things, then he placed them before the angels and said "Tell me the names of these if you are right" (Al-Quran, 2:31). Our Prophet (saw) saved the ignorance people of Arabia from the all kinds of evil activities and bad character by the Holy Quran that is guidance for all human being and there is no doubt. It is important here, when Muhammad (saw) curious mind was searching for the truth then the lord of the universe, favored him with his blessing the first revelation of the Quran: "Read in the name of your lord who created man from a cloning substance. Read and your lord is the most generous who taught by the pen. Taught man what he did not know. . By this revelation, Muhammad (saw) saved the humanity and established peaceful society among the feuding Arab. Reframing Islamic Educational Concept for Social Justice

The development of concepts and theories of Islamic Education have started since the First Conference on Muslim Education in Mecca in 1997. However, throughout these concepts, the Muslims scholars fail to link the concept of Islamic Education with the struggle for social justice in the Muslim community. This paper aims to discuss why social justice issues seem to be overlooked, this paper also offers recommendation on reframing of Islamic educational theory. For this purpose, this paper analyzes documents resulted from the World Conferences of the Muslim Education, and from another conference with the theme Toward Construction of a Contemporary Islamic Educational Theory conducted in Amman-Jordan. Besides its ethical and moral teachings that are meant to provide man with a sound and perfect belief system, Islam offers man both a theoretical and a practical program for education and moral training and fresh interpretations of these teachings can prove to be very beneficial for the present day human society. This research-based book is an attempt to provide the readers with pure and solid foundations, principles, and methods of education by relying on the views of the Qur’an on human nature and by clarifying the Islamic concept of education. The author, Khosrow Bagheri (Ph.D), has a doctorate in education from the N.S.W. University. Australia, and is currently teaching at the Tehran University. Role of Education for Inculcating Moral Values in New Generation: An Islamic Perspective

Education has been greatly emphasized in Islam. It is an important matter which forms the basis for one's life direction. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to present the Islamic educational model as a significant instrument to tackle the scary rise of immoral attitude and values in our new generation. From an Islamic perspective, knowledge is gained to actualize and perfect all dimensions of the human being and the highest and most useful model of perfection is the prophet Muhammad (SAW). Education, therefore, is an aspect that is important and must be given special attention so that the person can be molded into a human as best as possible. This paper targets the significance of education for inculcating moral values in the new generation and molding them into the ideal Muslim along with high intellect. The study would also highlight the substantial role of the education system including the academia and curriculum for instilling moral value and Islamic norms into Muslim students. In sum, several suggestions are recommended to strengthen the educational system in Pakistan, and then we could produce a nation that will be the combination of knowledge and practice and the real specimen of morality according to the teachings and main purpose of Islam.

The Values of Social Education in the Qur'an and its Relevance to The Social Character Building For Children

This study aims to find the values of social educational contained in the Qur'an. This research is a qualitative research in the form of library research. The focus of the verse is the object and source of primary data of this study, namely various commentaries that explain Surah at-Taubah verses 71-72. While secondary data sources of research is various literatut that are relevant to the subject matter of discussion. To answer the discussion of the research, the writer uses the method of interpretation maudhu'i (thematic). This study concludes that the values of humanistic social education contained in the letter at-Taubah verses 71-72 include attitudes of helping to help, an invitation to the good and preventing munkar, social solidarity, brotherhood. These values can be a spirit of social education in forming empathy, mutual care, protection, tolerance and high social solidarity. The four values of social education can be actualized in the context of the planting of social education in children through various things, among others, the cultivation of a noble mentality in children can be realized in the planting of brotherly values and help children. Furthermore, the cultivation of a spirit of attention to the rights of others and a commitment to social ethics can be realized through the inculcation of the value of social solidarity. Then, inculcation of critical and social supervision can be realized by instilling the value of amar makruf nahi munkar.

Contrasts Between Moral and Islamic Religious Education: Dilemmas and Prospects

This study has compared Islamic Religious Education (IRE) and Moral Education (ME) to identify these two subjects' innate differences. This qualitative research interviewed nine schoolteachers who were selected purposefully. Eleven themes were generated from the analysis of the interviews that manifested the findings of this research. The research findings reveal that IRE and ME have differences in their core philosophical standpoints and instruction methods. Based on the research findings, we have suggested necessary modification of Lickona’s Model of Teaching Moral if it is to be implemented to the curriculum of IRE. This study is significant to the curriculum developer of IRE to ensure the readiness of IRE teachers in addressing issues and concern related to moral questions and judgments. Fitrah as the initial character or human nature that is carried from the beginning when humans are born, has two sides namely good or bad, in its distribution, thus allowing the emergence of deviations. The aim of this study is to analyze how Islamic education is a means of developing human nature. This research is qualitative and takes the form of library research, which is conducted by tracing various sources of literature or literature in the form of books, as well as indexed publication articles related to Islamic education and human nature.
