Tecnología y desarrollo en América Latina. Un recorrido guiado por las ideas de Aldo Ferrer (original) (raw)

2016

Abstract

The debate on development – of which Ferrer was a prominent protagonist - occupied a central place during the three decades that followed the postwar period. However, it was afterwards relegated by the predominance of a uniform recipe of supposed good technical and institutional practices. This notwithstanding, the challenges of the region made necessary to renew the approaches by articulating old theoretical traditions with new strands of economic and social thought. And the legacy of Aldo Ferrer is a good guide to recover the exercise of reflecting and proposing development policies with a Latin American perspective.
