Abstract

Bu calismada anne baba catismasi ve annelerin duygu sosyallestirme tepkileri baglaminda ele alinan anne-baba-cocuk etkilesimlerinin 9-13 yas cocuklarinin davranis sorunlari ile iliskisi ve bu sorunlara katkisi incelenmistir. Ek olarak; cocugun davranis sorunlari ile anne baba catismasi algisi arasindaki iliskide annelerin duygu sosyallestirme tepkilerinin araci rolunun olup olmadigi degerlendirilmistir. Arastirmanin orneklemini olusturan ilkogretim okulu ogrencisi 266 cocuk icin, soz konusu cocuklarin kendilerinden, annelerinden ve ogretmenlerinden veri toplanmistir. Arastirmada cocuklarin evlilik catismasi algisi, annelerin duygu sosyallestirme tepkileri, cocuklarinda gozlemledigi davranis sorunlari ve ogretmenlerin soz konusu cocuklarda gozledigi davranis sorunlari degerlendirilmistir. Bu amacla Cocugun Evlilik Catismasi Algisi Olcegi (CECAO), Cocuklarin Olumsuz Duygulariyla Basa Cikma Olcegi (CODBCO), Conners Ogretmen ve Ebeveyn Derecelendirme Olcekleri Kisa Formlar (CODO-28, CEDO-27) ve kisisel bilgi formu kullanilmistir. Arastirma bulgulari ilgili yazinla kismi tutarlilik gostermektedir. Arastirma sonuclari ozellikle anne baba catismasi ve anne baba catismalarinda kendini suclama arttikca cocukta gelisen davranis sorunlarinin da arttigina isaret etmektedir. Anne baba catismasinin yani sira; ozellikle annelerin cezalandirici ve sikintili duygu sosyallestirme tepkilerinin de cocukta gelisen davranis sorunlari ile iliskisine dikkat cekmektedir. Ote yandan; annelerin bildirdigi davranis sorunlari ile cocugun algiladigi anne baba catismasinda kendini suclama arasindaki iliskilerde annelerin cezalandirici ve/veya sikintili duygu sosyallestirme tepkilerinin aracilik ettigi gorulmektedir. Arastirma sonuclari, anne-baba-cocuk iliskilerinin davranim sorunlarina katkisinin belirlenmesine yardimci olarak; erken mudahale sansini arttirabilir ve aile egitimlerine rehberlik edebilir.Abstract In this study the relations between 9- 13 years old children’s behaviour problems and interactions between parents and children which are handled in the context of children’s interparental marital conflict appraisals and maternal emotion socialization, beside contributions of aforementioned variables are examined. Moreover, this study seeks to research mediation role of maternal emotion socialization between children’s appraisals of marital conflict and behaviour problems. Children’s, their mothers’ and teachers’ reports were used for 266 elementary school children who constitute sample of the research. In this study, children’s appraisals of interparental conflict, maternal emotion socialization technics, maternal observations of own children’s behavioral problems and teachers’ observations of aforementioned children’s behavioral problems are assesed. Due to the aim of this study, Children’s Perception of Marital Conflict, Emotion Socialization Scale, Conners Raiting Scales-Short Forms and personal information questionnaire are employed. Findings point that when especially self blame in children’s appraisals of interparental conflict increase, behaviour problems increase at the same time. Besides interparental conflict, associations between children’s behaviour problems and especially punitive and distress emotion socializations is pointed out. On the other hand, findings point that punitive emotion socializations has mediation role in the associations between children’s genaral behaviour problems reported by mothers and self blame appraisals. Research findings has partial consistency with linked articles in literature. Results of the research may increase the chance of earyl intervention on children’s behaviour problems and may guide for family training programs as helping determination of aforementioned associations’ contrubutions to children’s behaviour problems.
