The article is devoted to explanation and elaboration of recreation and health-improving technology embracing health tourism means for the cohort of primary school age children after the school hours aimed at improvement of physical well-being of the primary school pupils. Essential features of this technology is unit principle of classes planning and usage of the health tourism means divided into units "Tourists", "Athletes", "Orienteers", "Local historians" through entertainments, active games, walks, excursions, hikes, contests and competitions. It was found out that the pupils, practicing the described technology based on the health tourism means have higher functional state of organism indices (related to heart-vascular system, physical health level and organism adaptive-reserve capacities), better results in general physical and mental state, activity and temper. The suggested technology benefits to the physical health of primary school age children and has potential for implementation of innovative sports and health methods in the process of physical education. Effect of Recreation Oriented Tourism Program on Physical Health of Middle School Aged Children

Problem statement. Experts recommend to implement to the school physical education the modern recreation technologies. Today the issue of direct influence of recreation activities on the level of physical health of middle school children is not enough illuminated in the literature. Objective. To determine the influence of recreationoriented tourism program on the level of middle school children physical health. To achieve these objectives we used the following methods: theoretical analysis of scientific and methodological sources; educational experiment; H. Apanasenko's physical health index, methods of mathematical processing. Material: 149 middle school-aged children participated in the study, including 75 girls and 74 boys. For nine months, children in addition to physical education classes were involved in the extra-curricular groups: 39 boys and 37 boys-in the volleyball group, 36 girls and 37 boys-in the recreational tourism group. Results. It was proved that through special means used in tourism the number of children involved in the recreational tourism group with average physical health level is much bigger than the children involved in the volleyball group among male and female. Conclusion. Physical education on the basis of the use of contemporary recreational tourism technologies is one of the most effective methods of increasing the physical health. According to the received information recreational tourism training may be the key to forming and maintaining the proper health of the middle schoolaged children.

Purpose: to study role of health related hiking and orienteering in improvement of children’s physical conditions. Material: 163 children of 7 - 10 years old age participated in the research (82 boys and 81 girls). Tests for assessment of physical condition, physical health, adaptation reserve potentials and motor functioning of junior schoolchildren were used. Results: It was found that 46,01% of pupils can be considered healthy. Accordingly more than half (53,99%) have not infectious diseases. Among them nosologies of musculoskeletal apparatus prevail. In academic day with physical culture lesson average and high levels of motor functioning prevail (61,36%). Recreation health related technology on the basis of health related hiking and orienteering has been theoretically substantiated and worked out. The objective of the study is to recognize the expectations of high school students with regard to various forms of school tourism, and with the school tourism teacher's personality. The study was performed during the second semester of 2009-2010 school year among 250 students of selected high schools in Wrocław, Poland. The method of the diagnostic poll and the questionnaire technique have been applied. Also, a discussion of literature in the field is provided. The results indicate that high schools students are interested in participating in tourism classes over the course of physical education classes, and the interest in tourism is similar for boys and girls. Students share a similar personal profile of a school tourism teacher. They appreciate the sense of responsibility, as well as educational and interpersonal skills. The personal example of a physical education teacher can play a vital role in initiating interest and passion for tourism.

Tourist activity of young people as a factor contributing to their health and proper development
Introduction and Objective: The aim of this paper is to assess the level of tourist activity of pupils and students from schools in Warsaw, as well as factors influencing this level of activity. Methods: A two-part questionnaire was used that included questions related to participation in tourist trips (day, long, short, and trips abroad) and the International Physical Activity Questionnaire (IPAQ). Results: Among the analyzed factors (gender, level of school, level of physical activity), only the level of school turned out to be the factor which significantly (p=0.000) influenced the physical activity of the respondents. It was observed that tourist activity among pupils and students decreased with age. Conclusion: There is an urgent need for a systematic approach towards promoting and supporting the participation of children and young people in tourism. as well as setting examples of how to travel and rest. Carrying out intervention programmes demands the further identification of factors determining them (e.g. influence of parents’ leisure time behaviour), as well as the application of standardized research tools.
Orienteering in the System of Recreational and Health-Improving Activity of Student Youth

The research presents the results of the pedagogical experiment that was performed during the academic year 2017-2018; the study enrolled 48 students aged 18-19 years (n=48). The objective of our research was to identify the impact of means of orienteering during recreational and health-improving activity on the morpho-functional state, psychophysiological state and physical fitness of the young men and girls aged 18-19 years. We found out that at the end of the pedagogical experiment, the positive dynamics of most of the studied indicators was observed. The indicators of the cardiorespiratory system improved significantly (p <0.05; p <0.01). Significant changes (p <0.05; p <0.01) were observed in the indicators of the short-term memory capacity, of the volume of the processed information, of the attention span, and the number of mistakes made. The use of outdoor games and their effects on the body of schoolchildren

Research purpose-to ground and define the role of outdoor games in physical education of children of midchildhood. 20 children of midchildhood, which were up-diffused on two identical groups (control and basic) on age and to physical development for 10 schoolchildren are involved in research. It is set that for the children of basic group the reaction of the respiratory system became better on the physical loading (on results the leadthrough of test of Serkin), the considerable improvement of function of breathing organs took a place. Set necessity of perfection of process of physical education of children. The measures of strengthening of interest are recommended to the lessons of physical culture for children, distributing and selection of games on the years of teaching. It is recommended in the process of teaching expressly to adhere to the following method of education of physical capabilities: complexity, regularity and sequence; duration of implementation of games and volume of loading; intervals of rest and their character.
