Barriers Approach to Innovation in Academic Libraries

Innovation in academic libraries is not a brand new issue. Academic libraries can benefit from successful innovation, since innovation is a key contributor to gaining and sustaining competitive advantage for survival. Building on two case studies, 28 participants from leadership teams to practitioners are involved, the qualitative findings identified the specific two types of barriers that academic libraries face by applying a barriers approach to innovation, that's, environmental and organizational barriers. Especially, seven dimensions of two types of barriers to innovation are found.

Bloom 認知與技能教育目標應用於快速數位教材製作流程與設計研究 The Development of Procedure and Design Principle of Using Rapid E-learning Tools in Bloom's Taxonomy

近年來,數位學習(E-learning)在網路應用領域中快速成長,成為主流。然而,許多組織顧及節省人力資源與縮短時程的因素,利用簡易的教材製作工具來解決問題,因此「快速數位學習」順應產生,將教材製作的時間縮短,其中教學設計仍是開發過程中重要的一環。 有鑑於此,本研究目的旨在經由文獻分析之歸納,提出 Bloom 教育目標分類與教學設計原則、快速數位學習教材設計內涵與快速學習製作工具分析,藉此發展出快速數位學習教材製作流程。另透過教材開發者問卷調查與專家訪談,進行流程的修正,建立流程之可行性與實用度。本研究結果為縮短教學設計分析階段之流程,將教學目標分析與資源分析整合,直接運用 Bloom 教育目標將教材內容分類後,找出合適的呈現方式,再根據每項工具之特性與專有的功能,挑選出適用的工具來進行教材製作。本流程的建置能協助學科內容專家加快尋找製作工具之作業,提供快速數位學習教材製作之應用與參考。<br>As the development of internet, the speed of information update is faster than ever. This study explored the concept of faculty-librarian collaboration from the perspective of culture. Five research purposes are proposed in this study. The Differences of Publication Lag and Revisions of Conference Papers Extended Publishing to Journal Articles: In Field of Management

The purpose of this study was to investigate the extended publishing of conference papers in the field of management. The sample examined consisted of a total of 2,427 conference papers that were published in 2011 in nine international conferences spanning four academic fields, which were marketing, production and operations management, transportation management, and information management. This study adopted bibliometrics to analyze the extended publishing rate of the original conference papers, the document types of the extended publications, and the publication lag from the original conference papers to extended versions publishing. The differences between the originals and extended publications were also compared, including the changes in authorship, references, the length of articles, and the number of tables and figures. 戰後臺灣古蹟保存之修復論述實踐的「技術史」研究

古蹟保存之修復論述中再提出技術這一疑旨結構的主要意義,是為了意圖重新釐清古蹟保存與修復的真義,以及重新建立對於古蹟保存修復技術之實踐主體性的認識。更確切而言,它將指涉古蹟之保存修復論述的技術形構為何?本文認為,古蹟保存修復的論述實踐可說是基於「創新使用」的技術史,涉及的是技術的選擇與使用。概因保存修復技術所面對的處理對象-古蹟,既不是必然存在或生成的事物,亦非其存在或生成是由於自然作用的事物,而是可改變和可製作的事物;這種「實踐-造物」導向的技術本質,旨在製作的反思活動,是一種「造物」與「產生新知識」相結合的過程。這樣的技術建構,關乎的是「知的方法」,而不必然是創造新知識或新事物的方法。是故,與其稱之為技術,或許稱之為「技術產物」更為適當;它就如同古蹟的存在一樣,是特定之社會文化條件的意識形態脈絡下的產物。

The studies of research productivity and authorship of theses published apply the method of bibliometrics. Through the method, the studies utilize the results of quantitative analysis to discuss and explore the results and trends of research activities and the direction of manpower development in academic communities. Through the exploration and analysis of the authors' productivity and the distribution of manpower structure, the potential of research and development of a particular field or subject and the current situation of research talents of the field or subject can be revealed.
