Employees and companies are two things that cannot be separated because employees play a major role in carrying out company activities. Every company tries to improve and develop its company by doing many ways related to the employee performance improvement program. To make progress and achieve the goals set, a company needs to mobilize or monitor its employees to develop its capabilities. Motivation is the driving force for work, achievement and the basis for efforts to design attractive works so that employees want to do their jobs. The internal functions of the workforce/employees are related to one another, plus other internal functions. This condition needs to be directed so that the company's function as an entity can provide sustainable services to the community based on mutual benefit. An interesting thing about this study is how Indonesian Islamic Banks maintain Islamic nuances in running the company's wheels and a professional work rhythm like conventional banks. This paper was conducted in Islamic banking companies in Indonesia. The sample used was employees who have worked for approximately one to two years using non-probability sampling techniques. The analytical tool used was Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). This paper examines the effect of spiritual leadership, organizational support, and Islamic work ethics on organizational citizenship behavior and employee performance. The study was conducted on 186 employees of Islamic banking in Indonesia.

The main objective of this study is to investigate the impact of employees’ spiritual intelligence (i.e., sense of meaning, sense of community and wisdom) on organizational citizenship behavior (OCB). This study investigates the moderating effect of the Islamic work ethic between the relationship of the dimensions of spiritual intelligence and organizational citizenship behavior. This study aims to analyze the factors which affect employee performance; islamic work ethics by using affective commitment and job satisfaction as intervening variables. Based on the research problem, there are how to improve employee performance through affective commitment and job satisfaction, and the factors which affective commitment and job satisfaction, so the answer is by the Islamic Work Ethics variable. This study aims to redesign and find out the role of Islamic work ethics in influencing Islamic motivation, affective commitment, job satisfaction, and employee performance. Respondents in this study are populations of various cross-sectoral and cross-profession employees, such as government and private workers, soldiers, educators (teachers and lecturers) in various offices in Central Java. 220 questionnaires were distributed to all respondents, but the number of the returned questionnaires was 200. THE IMPACT OF ISLAMIC WORK ETHICS ON EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE: TESTING TWO MODELS OF PERSONALITY X AND PERSONALITY Y.

The study discusses the relationship of Islamic work ethics on employee performance and tests two different models of working personality X and personality Y. Survey was completed by PhD faculty members. Study followed ex-post facto design and meditational analysis with randomized design. Model testing was done by using structural equation modeling which was statistically good fit and resulted in proving the proposition that Islamic work ethics can significantly effect employee performance. Moreover, Islamic work ethics also effect the personality X and personality Y type employees which significantly effect employee performance. The study adds theoretical and contextual value to the literature of ethics as the mainstream research is on Western organizations and values, the study suggests that the Islamic perspective can add to the understanding of employee performance, with two different models of personality X and personality Y, along with employee characteristics.

This study aims to analyze the effect of the work environment, work motivation, organizational culture, and compensation moderated by Islamic work ethic on employee performance. Unlocking Spirituality at Workplace through Islamic Work Ethics: Analyzing Employees' Performance in Islamic Banks

This study reveals the worth of spirituality at workplace by considering its factors (inner life, meaningful work and sense of community) in the context of IWE for investigating employees' performance. The data was collected from 347 serving middle line managers of Islamic banks across major cities of Pakistan. SPSS 21 was used to analyze the data through correlation, multiple regression and moderated regression analysis with appropriate data normality and independence. The results revealed that two determinants of spirituality at workplace (meaningful work and sense of community) create significant positive impact on employees' performance. On the contrary, the third determinant (inner life) exhibits insignificant effect on employees' performance. It is also established that IWE do not moderate the relationship between inner life and employees' performance; however, a moderation effect of IWE is found in the relationship between meaningful work and employees' performance as well as sense of community and employees' performance. Thus, implications for Islamic banks have been discussed in particular and other organizations in general to uphold spirituality at workplace and IWE for sustaining performance standards across all quarters.
